Originally, this series is a remake of a United Kingdom drama series known as Broad-church. On January 15, 2014, Kendrick Sampson was given the role of Dean Iverson. On January 16, 2014, Jack Irvine was given the role of Tom Miller, son of Ellie and Joe Miller, and Danny’s closest friend. The extra characters that were not featured on the other series include: Madalyn Archer who was added to the cast on January 14, 2014 as Chloe Latimer, daughter of Mark and Beth, sister of was to feature in the series as Hugo Garcia.
