Importance of Humanities in the Stem Subjects Humanities have great significance to the field I am currently studying. Science has a lot of practices that undermine the basic knowledge we had before or theories in place thus studying humanities will help remind every scientist where we came from. For instance, science has weakened religion and through religious studies, we get to know our origin. Humanities also challenge one’s brain and makes us to be all rounded humans who do not depend on science alone. It reminds us of the enormous capacity that we have of deluding ourselves as humans. I believe we need humanities now than ever since in my scientific profession, it is always about facts however humanities give us some scepticism, doubt and uncertainty thus we need to embrace various disciplines in humanities.
