Introduction
The term trauma is often used to refer to a negative action that is painful and have overwhelming emotions that affects person’s ability to deal with the situation such as undergoing through scenarios of dangerous activities involving hurricane, vehicular accident, sexual assault and different types of abuse that are being experienced during the childhood age (Terr, L. (2008). The most Various forms of trauma that usually tend to have a greater negative impacts on adverse psychological conditions penalties are the ones that are mostly related to what is referred to anintentional trauma, they include abuses such as childhood abuse and child neglect. Therefor childhood trauma is the capability of an event experienced by a child, usually emotional and distressful and frequently results into long lasting effects of mental and physical problems. However, it is possible to survive when right assistance is given even from a dangerous existing early trauma (Schore, A. N. (2001). Complex Childhood trauma has various forms of Effects and therefore can affect children in different magnitude ways.
The main fact and agenda in the close relationship between a child and the caregiver is very important and can never be ignored or overestimated. Through proper relationship and good attachment records, children do always learn to have trust on others. Have their emotions regulated and therefor has the opportunity to interact with the rest of the world; They then tend to develop some wisdom of the world as either harmless or violent and then come to a common understanding of their origin values as an individual. When the relationship between them becomes weak and unstable, Children that are affected with trauma learn a lesson that they can no longer rely on other people to offer them a help (Grossman, R. (2001). When a child is exploited and abused by the primary caregiver they feel offended and make a conclusion that she or he is wrong and bad therefor, they see the world as not a perfect place to be.
Majority of children that are being abused and those who are experiencing neglect develop a poor relationship and attachment to a primary caregiver hence become vulnerable due to unhealthy attachments they are experiencing from the caregiver. They face trouble in having their emotions expressed and controlled effectively this cause them to react inappropriately due to their status and finally causing violent amongst them (Schore, A. N. (2001). The responsibility to develop a healthy and a good supportive relationship with people and to those who we feel that are significant usually depend on relationships that are being developed in families. Therefor a child who has experienced trauma history maybe in the position of having a problem in either a romantic relationship and on how to relate with friends and relatives or from those who have a higher authority powers such as the police men and teachers within the community, just to mention a few.
From childhood and throughout the adolescence periods, the body experiences and develops a biology stages. Proper and normal biological meanings can be partly determined by the environmental conditions. When a child is born and continues to grow up he or she develops feelings such as being afraid, experiencing a certain stress condition, The immune systems in the body and the response that links the stress system in the body may not be at the point of developing normally (Eth, S., & Pynoos, R. (1985).Later on if the childhas been exposed to a common condition of stress, at this level this response system may experience automatic response that indicates that this specific individual is under dangerous condition.ie a specific individual may be able to have an experience of an important physiological reactions such as vigorous breathing conditions or rapid heart pounding or may die when faced with total stressful situations. These kind of response when adapted can be faced with important threat that are in the share that are same as the normal stress conditions that sometimes welcomed by others as an excess reaction.
Environment that is experiencing stress conditions can sometimes impair the proper growth of the brain and the nervous system. If the mental stimulation is totally absent in the environment that is neglected it may result into the limitation of a full potential of a brain development condition (Grossman, R. (2001). Children that face complex trauma pasts can be able to develop chronic physical complaints such as stomachaches and headaches while Adults with the same pasts of trauma in a childhood has shown to be facing more problems of physical chronic conditions. They involve behaviors that are very risky and violent that is composed from the certain conditions such activities that causes obesity or factors that can lead someone to smoke. Children that suffer from complex trauma often experiences problems hence suffer from various forms conditions in the body i.e. dysregulation to mean they usually do face under or over response to a specific sensory stimuli problem. They may face hypersensitive to noise or any available sounds or smells, lightening or touch surfaces. This fellow may also suffer from diseases such as anesthesia, analgesia that makes them to become unware of the pain, making them unware of touch and away from any internal sensations in the body. This can cause injury to them without having felt any pain and even suffer from any physical conditions without knowing or being aware of them whatsoever (Eth, S., & Pynoos, R. (1985). Children may have a complain of some forms of pain specifically, the pain from chronic that form various parts from which no any physical reason can be found.
Children that are suffering from trauma usually have trouble in choosing, highlighting and maintaining their feelings and may be having some limited language for expressing their emotional states. They frequently absorb and internalize stress actions and as results, they may undergo through important depression, anger and some anxiety. The emotions may become unpredictable, child may behave to cause a reminder of the traumatic activity that causes anger or trembling, sadness or may also cause voidance. Child with a traumatic past that faces various forms of traumatic activities can be found everywhere in the environment, a child of this kind can be able to cause reactions that are frequent and powerful hence can be difficult to bring them down to calm them once they have been upset vigorously (Van der Kolk, B. A.(2003).Trauma has nature of interpersonality even a mere mildly stress reactions from interacting with others can serve as trauma reminders and cause an intense feelings of responses. Having known that the world is anextreme place from even where you cannot trust people you love whatsoever to offer you some source of protection, children who tend to be vigilant can be guided from their interactions with other individuals and are most likely take the situations as an extreme. This defensive note offers protections when a fellow is facing an attack; it tends to become more problematic in conditions that do not intend to face such intense reactions. Otherwise, most children have learnt to have a tune to the existing threats that are found within the environment hence making them hopeless to victimization (Van der Kolk, B. A. (2003).Managing feelings that are conditionally difficult usually occurs during the absence of close relationships, having fail on how to calm down children with trauma once they are upset most of them usually becomes overwhelmed easily. For example, in this case children with trauma may become so frustrated in school that most of them gives up on a very small assigned tasks that showcase a young challengewhile children who has got some experience from the pasts on complex trauma events also faces a high chances in likelihood that they become fearful in life all the time in most of the situations (Eth, S., & Pynoos, R. (1985). They ascertain chances of having more depression as well.
Trauma in childhood is extremely high; it has a greater economic impact in the accumulative for the economic as well as in the social burden. Based on data from various researchsources, an annual budget of child abuses and child neglect is roughly estimated be $ 100 billion (2007 values). This budget includes the direct coast that combines the children with maltreated immediate needs such as the ones that has been hospitalized and mental healthcare the ones with special education.
In conclusion, the problem facing child maltreatment, domestic violence and elderly abuse have resulted into several separate of different interventions in a democratic social service, health department and even in the law enforcement themes. This type of intervention has been motivated by providers that advocates for one voice for the communities.. This intervention now constitutes a wide range of various institutional services that is focused in the prevention, treatment and identification of different types of violence experiencing violence families.Thi research has taken positive approach to families that face violence intervention. This means that we should focus on how services that is existing in the health and law enforcement themes affect different individuals who usually come into contact with children that are affected with trauma
