You’ve probably heard of Airbnb, the room-sharing application that allows you to find convenient lodging hosted by real people. But its newest partner, Flipboard, might not have been on your radar until now. Flipboard is a news aggregator that collects news and topical content that users are sharing on social media and allows you to “flip” through the material much like a social media feed. Well, Airbnb recently teamed up with Flipboard to create “Experiences”, which serve Airbnb users with lifestyle content tailored to their interests and shared by people with similar interests as the reader. Use prototype theory to discuss the logic behind this co-branding activity. Start your answer by explaining the concepts (a) prototype [1] and (b) prototypicality [1], and then analyze the co-branding partnership between Airbnb and Flipboard [3].

As we have discussed when developing a BIP we must write up the procedure so that others can follow our intended directions.  The following assignment works on your ability to read procedures as well as writing procedures in a sequential and replicable manner.

Read the following article on Imitation Training.  As you read the article think about how you would write up the procedure identified in the section  5.3.5 Video Modeling Imitation Training. Think about what actions the authors want the therapist to perform.  After you thought about the procedure write up the specific procedure for implementing the treatment session in a step by step manner and submit it through CANVAS.  Include at the beginning of the procedure a goal statement for this activity. Review the procedure section of the example behavior plans provided in Module one for the desired format as well a the BIP explanation from Module two to assist you. Be sure to include actions to be taken by learner and instructor including wording as well as reinforcement procedures.  This will be the format you will follow when writing your final BIP.
