It is a known fact that Bentley University is among the leading educational institutions in the world. Furthermore, its business program is one that seems to fit with my career needs in the future. Currently, I am a freshman student at Suffolk University, undertaking a major in finance. The university I am attending is good, but I believe that I need to receive an education from the best, which in this case is Bentley University. I am an international student from the Dominican Republic and studying in the United States is a privilege. Most times, people who are the same age as me often do not know what they want out of life. In turn, they end up wasting their lives, which I believe is quite pitiful. Fortunately, I have found my inspiration from my father and grandfather who want me to have a successful career. Both of them are successful business men back home in the Dominican Republic. My grandfather is the owner of one of the largest sugar factories, while my father is a franchise owner of McDonalds.
My other siblings also dream of having a chance to study at Bentley University. In fact, my younger sister has received an offer to study at the same university. She will be starting classes during the upcoming fall semester. In turn, this makes me even more eager to have a chance to transfer to Bentley University. Also, living in the Boston area for quite some time has made be familiar with the school through the people I have interacted with. They all have praises for the university and how it can be helpful to me. I have had an opportunity to meet at least three of the universities alumni, who are now holding prestigious positions at their work places. I believe that if I get to study at the university, I will also be proud alumni.
Since I am a student pursuing a major in finance, I will benefit significantly by studying at Bentley University. Moreover, the skills and knowledge that I will acquire will help me a lot once I am through with my studies at the university. Also, when I go back to the Dominican Republic, I will assist not only my family, but also contribute towards improving the country’s economy. I am well informed about the high quality standards of teaching by the professors with many years of experience. The environment at the university is extremely conducive for learning as there are many facilities to make learning better. The library has a lot of books and other academic sources of knowledge that will assist me when learning. The university is known for its many students from various parts of the world, and this makes it a multicultural university. This means that I will interact with various nationalities, and this will enhance my learning experience.
Therefore, I believe that I possess the qualities needed in order to be part of Bentley University. I am hardworking, disciplined as well as one who believes in helping others to succeed. If, I am accepted to Bentley University, I will be a step closer towards attaining one of the goals that I have in life. I conclude by stating I will not waste the opportunity if I study at the prestigious university.

Admission into the TRIUM Global Executive MBA Program
My experiences in the past have exposed my limitations in business management and this is the main reason why I want to join the TRIUM Global Executive MBA Program. Before joining Socar Georgia Gas, I worked for Milio international which was relatively a small company compared to Socar Gas. Our team at Milio International was made up of about 10 employees and customers and this made Management relatively easier since I was dealing with a small number of staff and clients as well. Joining Socar Georgia Gas (SGG) proved to be quite a challenge for me since I had never worked for such a large company in the past. At Socar Georgia Gas, I manage 900 employees and serve about 100,000 customers compared to 10 employees and 10 customers at Milio international. Working at SGG was not an easy task for me and it required a total overhaul of the management style that I had used at Milio international. Due to the small number of employees and customers at Milio, I managed through cultivating a personal relationship with each customer and employee. This strategy proved difficult to use at SGG since managing such a company requires a deep understanding of corporate structures as well as delegation of duties.
Initially after starting to work at SGG, I made mistakes here and there mainly due to lack of experience and it took me some time to learn how things work. Right now, I can boldly say that the company is well managed and this is clearly reflected by its financial performance over the last few years.
Before I joined SGG, the company was making losses but this has changed in the three years that I have been there as I have been able to turn a company with 30% of gas losses in the system into one of the most successful one in the local market. A bigger management challenge is on the way for me as Socar Georgia Gas is in the process of acquiring our main local competitor. This acquisition is expected to be finalized in the next three months, which means that in 3 months time the number of my employees will double and the number of my customers will triple.
The competitors that we are acquiring were not performing so well and this explains why they are on sale. On one hand, this acquisition fills me with professional satisfaction while on the other hand it raises serious concerns on my ability to manage one of the largest national companies in the gas sector. My main short term goal is to acquire the necessary skills and experience required to run this company .TRIUM Global Executive MBA Program will offer me all the necessary managerial skills and will also offer me the chance to gain experience through mingling with other students from all over the world.
Socar Georgia Gas is a subsidiary of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (Socar) which changed in the last ten years from being a local government monopoly into a multinational corporation with operations in Singapore, Germany, Romania, Turkey, Georgia, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Austria and Ukraine. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has very aggressive expansion plans in the future as it seeks to increase its customers and raise its earnings. A good example of these plans is the recent announcement that the company will bid for privatization of the Istanbul Gas Distribution Company (IGDAS) this year.
IGDAS is the largest gas company in Turkey with four million customers and the best gas distribution network. My long term goal is to be part of this change and take the opportunity to also grow with SOCAR. Currently, there is a shortage of well qualified and experienced managers at the company and taking part in the Trium Global Executive MBA Program will equip me with advanced management skills and also the necessary knowledge to do business globally. These skills will go a long way in advancing my career as well as helping SOCAR as a group grow.
Working in one of the largest gas companies in the country has given me the chance to interact with managers and businesses people from all over the world therefore increasing my global perspective. Although it’s unusual for young people run large companies like SOCAR, I have been privileged to represent the company at several global meetings. These meetings have raised my self confidence and also have given me the chance to gain experience through interacting with other business people. While working at both Milio and SOCAR, I have learnt that the main reason why many companies fail is because of poor management practices. Many managers are used to managing small companies that operate locally and so they find it difficult to manage multinationals. As stated earlier, am planning to be part of SOCAR as expands its operations into many other countries and I know that I need to deepen my business and management knowledge to do that. Although I have a lot of skills and experience from my previous jobs, I still need some important management skills mostly in entrepreneurship and finance.
The TRIUM Global Executive MBA Program is the ideal link to take me from where I am to where I want to be. The one thing I like most about the TRIUM program is the uniqueness and inventiveness of its managerial and finance programs. Through interacting with other people while at the program, I will raise my management skills as well my practical knowledge of matters related to business. The programs at the school are also very flexible and this will enable me to modify my studies to my career interests as well as enabling me to take advantage of international alumni of the school. Above everything, TRIUM Global Executive MBA Program will help me sharpen both my managerial and finance skills to enable me carryout my current duties at SOCAR well. The skills gained at TRIUM Global Executive MBA Program will also enable me achieve my long term goal of being an integral part of SOCAR as it acquires its competitors and expand its operations to more countries

I kindly request for a chance in your esteemed university which, will see me do my Masters Degree Networking. My passion in this field has never faded even after graduating from King Faisal University with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science & IT between the years 2006- 2010. I graduated from the university with a GPA 3. 91 on the scale of 5, and this encouraged doing my masters and then PhD. Previously, I attended Al Rowad High School and passed with a good grades before proceeding to the campus. Thereafter, between 2010- 2011 I was engaged in various computer projects such as Car Rent System where I used visual Basic & Sql server as the final project. The period between 2009 – 2010 found me learning Basics and advances in Microsoft Access Training Course. In April 2009, I completed a course in Ms Access (Intermediate Level). A year earlier, I did a course in MS Access (Beginner Level).
In the period, July – October, I did my attachment with Saudi Arabian Company (SAUDI ARAMCO). I was mainly in the Petrol Engineering Application Services Department (PEASD). I got the precious opportunity to test the skills I learnt in college and to measure my level of competency in networking. After completing the attachment, I got employed with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST). In the institution, I was employed as a Researcher, in National Satellite Technology Program (NSTP). I still work with the organization, and I enjoy every bit of my time I spent within the organization.
While, in school, I had the chance to develop some skills which have been useful in my life. These IT skills include Web Development tool, Programming Language, Data Base Tools, and Advanced Computer Hardware Technician. Consequently, I also possess skills in Design Software and various OS such as Apple Macintosh, MS Windows, and Linux. These skills have given me hope of developing interests in the latest technology in computing, system analysis, and design, technology forums, education, and learning. These skills and interests have given me hope of achieving my objective, which entails seeking a challenging position that enables use of my expertise and abilities with opportunities to grasp new skills in international companies.
The purpose of applying for a chance to study masters’ degree in your prestigious university is because ever since I finished my undergraduate course, I have admired the institution. Third, I am a team player and able to mobilize team members to achieve the set goals and objectives. This has been my advantage since childhood and has accorded some respect among other players.
