I believe that knowledge and learning are extremely vital in today’s modern world. In the year 2009, I arrived in the United States from Albania in search of the knowledge. Together with my husband, we came to this great land and we had to cope with the new changes. This included adapting to a new culture, learning a foreign language, as well as living a different way of life. Most of the help we received came from our own determination despite having a few relatives in the country. The internet played a vital role in finding information regarding various school as well finding suitable jobs. A lot of effort was put into ensuring that we worked tirelessly in order to find money to pay bills. Though we missed our friends and family, we had to adapt by thinking of our future success.
I was able to gain admission to the prestigious Bunker Hill Community College and in turn, learnt many valuable lessons. The college is known for education that is high quality and the enrolment of many foreign students. Luckily for me, the English I had learnt while at Albania in high school, assisted in making life easy. Furthermore, I can speak French and am influent in Spanish and Italian. Moreover, while at Bunker Hill Community College, I improved in my speaking and writing skills. The students as well as the professors at the school were extremely accommodating and friendly. They made sure that I learnt in the best possible environment to facilitate easier understanding of courses taught. I also made sure to play my part well by following the instructions and advice given to me. I can confidently claim that, on a weekly basis, I did part time jobs accounting to twenty hours. Moreover, I set aside time whereby, I could read and concentrate on my studies as it ought to be.
As part of my vision in life, I seek to further my education as I have already completed the courses I enrolled for at Bunker Hill. Furthermore, it is through transferring that I will be able to realize my life’s desires. I would like to have a better and well paying job as well as to have a better life. By attending a university that offers a degree in four years, I will have drawn near to my dream. After successfully completing the undergraduate degree, I will certainly carry on with my Masters. By majoring in Human Resource Management, I will be assured of a good future. I possess qualities such as being organized, punctual, and knowing how to deal with people. In turn, a career in human resource management is a wise decision and must ensure to fulfill it.
I can conclude by affirming that I am a candidate that is worthy, as well as one to be considered for a transfer. I have proven that I have various capabilities such as being industrious, motivated, as well as being enterprising. Life has taught me many valuable lessons, and I can face all that I encounter. I believe that Boston University suits well with my interests as well as my career goals. The university is recognized as one of the leading schools of higher learning in the United States. Also, the alumni of Boston University work all over the world in leading corporations. Furthermore, Boston University has many well learned faculty members who seek to teach students in the most conducive environment. I am confident that by gaining admission at Boston University, I will develop both personally and intellectually. The resources that exist at the university will help me throughout the entire period, and I will network with many Boston Community Members. Indeed, Boston University is the right place to acquire an education.
Babson College
I am Adelin Griseldis an international student from Indonesia. Currently, I am a student at the Shorelin Community College undertaking a degree in Art, as I am a business major. Hopefully, by gaining admission at the Babson College, Business School, I will enter into my third of study. Thereafter, I will enroll for a course majoring in either Finance or Entrepreneurship. By studying at the prestigious Babson College, I will have attained a step in the right career path. Also, I will have developed my personal life, which will in turn, contribute towards achieving my career goals.
Most people believe that successful leaders blend their personal passions with their career goals. The successful leaders have exceptional qualities, which make them different and unique, as compared to other people. They possess qualities, which make them achieve the goals that they seek to achieve. By studying at Babson College, I can become a successful leader. The education offered at the college is of high standards due to the experienced professors. Moreover, the facilities at the college provide every student with the resources, which enhance proper and effective learning. As a student at Babson College, I will make use of the library resources, in order to obtain as much knowledge as I can. Many of the alumni of the college whom I have interacted with have attested that they spent their time at the library, gaining valuable knowledge.
Back in Indonesia, my parents own a steel company, and they are expecting me to help run it. They encouraged me to study in the United States, particularly at Babson College, as they are aware of its notable reputation. Also, they are aware that I am exceptional skilled in matters that concern numbers, and thus the reason for taking up a business major. Other than that, I want to engage in community projects especially in Indonesia, as a way of making the lives of people better. I will start self help groups, so that people in my community can become self reliant. The knowledge and skills that I will acquire while at Babson College will serve the needs of many people. Also, I am aware that in order to be a successful leader, I should be ethical, especially in matters that concern business.
It is quite clear that Babson College offers me the opportunity to become a successful leader. The college helps one develop both personally and career wise, due to its exceptional way of teaching. Indeed, Babson College is the best choice for me as I seek to obtain my undergraduate degree. Hopefully, I will join Babson College soon.

Admission essay: Food Science.
Essentially food science is the use of basis engineering and science to examine the basic chemical, physical and biochemical characteristics of food that humans feed on and also understand the values of food processing (Hotchkiss & Potter, 1998). Poor handling of food during processing can be very dangerous to human health as it can lead to illness caused by reaction of the human body to the food. My interests in taking a doctorate degree in food science is to get a glimpse into this and held ensure that processed food is safe for human consumption.
After completing my undergraduate studies from the King Saud University-College of Food and Agriculture Sciences where I graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor Degree of Agricultural Science Major, Food Science and Nutrition I took up a job at King Khalid University Hospital as a dietitian. I served at the hospital from April 2002 to June 2005. I also served as a Food Inspector in the Ministry of Municipality and Rural Affairs from three months from July 2000 to October in the same year. Previously I had been serving as
As a part time administrative staff at the King Saud University Student Union Department from December 1995 to September 1999. Later, from January 1999 to April 2002, I served in the same potion on full time basis. From 2005 I took up a job at Saudi Food and Drugs Authority Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as a food specialist, a position is still hold. During this time I also managed to pursue and graduate with a Masters Degree of Food Science Major, Food Quality assurance from the Britain University of Leads in September 2008.
I have also attended several courses that have greatly improved my professionalism. This includes; a 3 months English training course at the Saudi Academy for Languages in 2001; a 3 months English training course at the International Eurocenter Brighton in 2002 and latter at Burry School in England for one month. Training course on HACCP- prerequisite in 200, food packaging materials training course in 2006, training course on Theoretical and Practical Aspect of Assessment of Contaminates in Food in 2009, training course on The power of leader in 2009, training course on Effective communication and meeting management in Jeddah in 2009, a course on Advanced Value methods in 2009 in kobar, a course on Project Management Professional and course on Emotional Intelligence, Self-awareness & Self-management in Riyadh in 2009.

Attended the lecture on Good Manufacturing Practices in Food Premises in Riyadh Chamber of Commerce Industry in 2006, Middle East regional Workshop on Laboratory Biosecurity & biosafety in Amman in 2006, international symposium on Food and Drug (present &outlook) during the period in 2006 in Riyadh, workshop on Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) in United Arab Emirates in 2008, the international Food safety conference in 2009 in Dubai and International Food safety Conference in 2010 in UAE.
This courses and conferences have been helpful in influencing my professional development and I now seek to pursue a doctorate degree in Food science. My main goal is to improve my knowledge and expertise in this field so that I can be able to handle various issues in this field with is my chosen career.
