So far, the most persuasive notion of exploitation ever set forth is that of Karl Marx. He thought that employees in an industrialist society are exploited insofar as they are forced to trade their toil power to entrepreneurs for fewer than the full worth of the merchandise they produce with their effort. From Marxist viewpoint, the bourgeoisie is the social class that happens to possess the ways of production during contemporary industrialization and whose social issues are the preservation of capital and the value of property to make sure the continuation of their monetary supremacy in society. Marx believed that no economic class—landowners, wage workers, etc. should have authority and control over another (Lapavitsas, 2017). He supposed that each person has a responsibility to offer what they can, and every individual should obtain what they require.
Exploitation can lead to self-destruction when an individual is degraded. They are found in a path of damaging and unsustainable growth. They include dislocation from automation, extreme wealth and social inequality, losing of job, and the existential danger posed by the environmental calamity. I agree with Marx’s arguments since exploitation is not good in a way that it can cause short-termism, inequality, excess materialism, market failure, and bust economic cycles.
Mary Wollstonecraft is one of the outspoken female philosophers who consider that both women and men were made equal; hence they have to be given the opportunity to have the same rights. Her main objective was to see women get access to parts of society mostly forbidden to them in the 18th century. If she was but, in the position, to remark about “only menfolk having to register for certain services,” I think she would be tough and furious. Her work was mainly concerned about woman’s rights. She urged majorly for the rights and privileges of women to be educated. Mary Wollstonecraft believed that emancipation would come through learning. I think that she would say that the notion of just menfolk being permitted to register for the selective provision was completely absurd. She is actually certain that if women were taught in all the sectors that men are taught, then they won’t have any more desire towards the equivalent kinds of stuff that men have a desire towards. Mary Wollstonecraft deliberates that since women are not as well-versed about the information that men are well-versed about, it makes an obstacle between women and men. On the other hand, she also reasons that if the females were more erudite in the equivalent areas that men were, then men and women would have good and improved sex lives.

DISCUSSION: WEEK 12
The author compares the amount of waste from the first audit to that from days with no trays. Leckie, the author, realized that the latter produced 2 to 3 ounces per individual down from 5 to 6 ounces. The findings were impressive to the author, but he was unsure about what to do with the information. During the summer, he raised the tray less idea in a brainstorming session to cut waste in a national gathering. Leckie writes that so many people in the gathering agreed that removing waste would reduce waste, but they could not access college administrators to play along.
The second statistical evidence from the book is where the author says how students save money by standing in certain places and eat leftovers of the board-paying classmates. The author says this is an established custom and the students who have meal plans drop off uneaten meals at a certain table near the dish return and include the foods that students did not like or could not finish. To them, they consider that as a form of recycling. Saving money and not avoiding waste is the main motivation of the scroungers and the practice has helped in the minimization of discarded food.
The third statistical evidence from the book is where the author talks about the rechanneling of food. He believes that freeganism interests him because he has seen how edible food is thrown out. He talks about how food is tossed in supermarkets and at times, it made it harder by paying the full price of the produce. The author also has, at some point, experienced the freegan moments. He acquired bagels and salvaged some bell peppers from a farmer’s market compost box. The bagels were sealed, but he still wanted to convince the store to donate such foods. The act would have made his employers mad and he could be fired, but it didn’t work because the store wasn’t in a friendly dumpster setting.
The evidence is deceptive because I am not sure if the audit was true. There is no place where the author tells us where we can get evidence about the performed audit. So many students have pride and it isn’t easy to see them eating leftovers in schools. There are so many measures that can be taken to ensure they are well-fed, unlike allowing the student to take leftovers from their fellow students. Human character is well known and it will be difficult for an individual to buy food and throw it away or donate it. With the tough financial times, so many people won’t agree with that action.

Executive Summary for Coca Cola SWOT Analysis
After engaging in thorough market research for Coca Cola Company, we have conducted a SWOT analysis of the firm as an industry, its operations, its customers and its competitors. Based on this information, we have put forth recommendations for the Company to improve over approximately the next 3 years.
The Coca Cola Company’s mission “is to create value and make a difference.” Coca Cola is the leading producer of soft drinks in the world. Anyone with a sweet tooth is a target for their brands that include Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Coca-Cola Zero, Sprite, Fanta, Sprite, Powerade, and Minute Maid.
The Company engages in Corporate Social Responsibility in environmental initiatives aimed towards economic development. This factor contributes greatly in putting Coca Cola Company a step above its competitors. The biggest competitor for Coca Cola is Pepsi. Great news for Coca Cola is that in the last 6 months, Pepsi has seen a drop of 10% in sales. The world is gaining an interest in healthy living therefore Coca cola has invested in organic and dairy drinks. Unfortunately, their soft drinks have been said to contain high levels of sugar that pose health risks like obesity and diabetes. It’s obvious that you don’t have to walk far before you see a coca cola advertisement either on a billboard, a shirt, or a ball cap. Coca Cola Company has invested a lot of money in the US alone on advertising.
Coca Cola has had its fair share of weaknesses in relation to its brand image. Allegations related to labor and accusations of pesticide heavy soft drinks productions in lesser developed countries have affected their brand over the years. The Company is generally viewed as a United States Corporation which benefits from the local market. This concept is generally portrayed by their local competitors.
Coca Cola takes advantage of new opportunities with other companies to increase sales. But, in the States, there has recently been tax charged on soda to discourage their consumption as a non healthy drink. More alarming is that other countries are following in this policy. Furthermore, as the world experiences degradation in climate changes, water resources are greatly affected thereby posing a threat to Coca Cola’s key ingredient, water.
Our recommendations based on Coca Cola’s SWOT analysis include the development of a marketing strategy using their strengths especially by the recent weakening of their major competitor Pepsi. As it is said, “the customer is always right.” Coca Cola needs to accommodate customer’s healthy lifestyle. In turn, this does not mean that it should venture into the new market haphazardly, instead with great caution. A good way to test this market is to purchase distributing licenses from already set up Companies thereby reducing risks. Coca Cola needs to create custom made product promotions suited to a particular local market which will achieve better results for the Company.
In conclusion, a SWOT analysis is critical for a company that faces challenges in this growing world. Therefore, with this analysis and recommendations, Coca Cola is sure to maintain its position as the market leader in soft drink s in the world for a long time.
