The Government of United State of America

The US president has many roles to perform as formulated by the constitution. The president has executive powers and roles that he plays in the state. They include;

Chief executive. As the head of the executive branch, the constitution provides a few instructions concerning the president. In this power provided by the constitution the president has specific administrative powers to perform, these task include; appointment and removal powers, budgeting, clemency and law enforcement,

Legislative. The president has a role in legislating. According to the constitution, this will be with the help of congress and thus there must be a good relationship between congress and executive. Through array of resource, the president can influence public policy by veto, the legislative proposal, executive orders and emergency powers.

Foreign affairs. This is done through treaty power, executive agreement and recognition and appointment power

He is the Commander in chief.

He is the Chief of the state. He presides over the ceremonial functions in the state.

Political factors may have caused ‘apparent’ expansion of the authority. Perhaps one of the reasons why the power of the president overstretches is constitutional text on the subject is notoriously unspecific which allows one writer to maintain for the office compared to the specific powers granted by the constitution to the congress. This makes the president to possess significant inherent powers. This proves that the constitution is indeterminacy of the president. In addition it is evident that the case law on presidential power is kind of underdeveloped. This is because there are few Supreme Court cases which analyses the presidential power. When some factors such as military action and national crisis call for exercise it allows the president to expand his/her power. Take an example of executive uses of authority such as Obama appointing the new party member namely Danny K Davis

A legal definition of the word responsible party is people who are in group or are personal and are legally liable for an action and therefore responsible for its outcome. In today’s politics, the political parties wouldn’t want to be considered to be responsible for action made. The reason as to why is because; despite the fact a decision would be made and many benefit from it always there are those who are hurt by that same decision made. It is definitely unavoidable. After some time the ‘pain’ wouldn’t bare it anymore and they will finally get the attention of the media from that they get a story. When this happens it becomes widely known by many and mostly blown up out of the actual circumstance by the media. If the political party stands to be responsible they ultimately lose. This is true despite that many benefited beyond the perceived harm. The result of this is that there would be no action taken to resolve bad situation and as well there will be creation of governmental paralysis.

The system of check and balance has become ‘unbalance’ due do the changing responsibilities in the current political scene. Since the power of the president is open-ended, the opposing political party to check the balance of the state. Those of the opposing political party are offered jobs and that makes it difficult to against the existing state. This is similar to that we have in congress currently.

The political parties are essential when it comes to local, state and national level as it facilitates in the equal distribution of the resources as they are responsible of check and balances of the government. The matter of the security is as well checked due to presence of the political parties.

Democrats and republican parties have differences in their policies which distinguish between the two. In terms of economic ideas, the democrats favor minimum wages and progressive taxation while republican believe that there should be no increment of taxes to any person including the wealthy and the free market should set the wages. A new voter should understand the difference before voting because this would impact their economic status despite of the class of the voter. Third parties don’t offer organization, pluralism and electoral process only because for them to influence the voters they have to use their resources. Unlike the third parties the first party uses the governmental framework to influence voters. It will come a time when a party needs to be identified will be through what they have contributed in the society. The identification of the party will be through record of performance to the voter.

Question one:

Russia:

The government of Russia has an inherent element of corruption that limits and discourages foreign investment. This evil vice, therefore, will limit the effectiveness of investing in Russia on telecommunication sector. This occurs since the corruption is evident in all levels of the Russian government. Russian government also has weak policies with regard to encouraging foreign investors to participate in investing in the business environment. As such, telecommunication business will face a challenge of unclear policies in Russia. In addition, Russia has an overwhelming political tension. An investment in a foreign country is successful if the political environment in the country permits conducting of the investment. In line with this, the political tension in Russian hinders foreign investment in the country. These elements within the Russian Government indicate that Russian Government has a weak regard of international cooperation. Therefore, carrying out investment in this nation is quite risky.

India:

Like Russia, India has also inherent political tension that hinders effective decision-making process among the politicians within the country. The political tension occurs in line with corruption at all levels in the government. The nation has demonstrated corruption on the investment sector in that award of licenses to mobile phone operators occur on favoritism basis. This hinders investment since only few investors find favor in accessing licenses to invest in the nation. In addition, India has inherent problems of inflation and insecurity. These two vices present risks of carrying out investment in the nation since the investment may never earn revenue, or the insecurity in the country tampers with the investment environment. Therefore, it is quite challenging to undertake investment in this nation.

Question two:

Gross domestic product (GDP) forms one of the most important economic indicators (Razin, & Sadka 72). This indicator depicts the economic status of a given country by revealing the value of services and goods produced. Consumer price index (CPI) and producer price index (PPI) aid in the determination of the inflation rate. CPI takes into consideration consumer services and goods cost while PPI determines price of goods in the level of wholesale. Employment announcement also forms an economic indicator of an emerging market. The announcement illustrates the jobs created, unemployment rate, and weekly working hours and their earnings. In economic analysis process, consumer confidence is a crucial factor of consideration; as such, consumer confidence index acts as an economic indicator. However, consumers may never receive the goods if they are not provided in the retail sector. This calls for determination of sale of goods within this sector through the use of retail sales index indicator.

For a company that markets laptop computers, retail sales index indicator would be the most significant indicator. This is because the index will aid in providing crucial information to the company on the performance of laptop computers in the existing market. In addition, the indicator will aid the company in formulating an effective strategy of undertaking marketing operations, and conducting risk assessment of the market. Retail sales index will further aid the company in formulating an effective market entry strategy.

Considering MPI ranking, a laptop computer marketing company should first get into Cote d’Ivoire. According to Sabina and Santos, Cote d’Ivoire, depict the middle MPI index. This forms a good foundation for the company to begin in order to analyze the market performance of both extremes of MPI ranking at a central level.

Question three:

A balanced scorecard (BSC) is a tool used by managers of various organizations and institutions to navigate into future mission and goals (Kaplan, & Norton 2). BSC provides managers with a framework that aids in strategic management and measurement in order to achieve the desired goals. BSC focuses on four balanced perspectives, which include internal business processes, customers, financial objectives, and learning and growth. The tool guides managers on how to keep an up to date track of financial results, while at the same time monitoring progress of developing capabilities and possessing intangible assets, which are key factors for future growth of the organizations.

Question four:

New methods of exhibitions and sponsorships help companies in improving their markets through customer attraction. The methods aim at a target market, and companies utilize this opportunity to exploit the market effectively. Since the methods have a direct contact with customers, companies enjoy the benefits of immediate customer feedback. Companies also stand a better chance of evaluation of the market segment effectively.

Taking a case of a bank such as Barclays bank, the efforts of the bank to sponsor various events and participate effectively in exhibitions attracts customers. Therefore, the bank stands a better chance of interacting with the customers directly. Moreover, the bank enjoys the benefits of having direct marketing to the customers.

1. The gospel of Matthew and john are concerned with the same thing; that is the life and mission of Jesus Christ on earth, however, they way that they have approached the subject is very different which makes them completely different from each other. In this part, we will look at the different claims that the two books make regarding Jesus Christ and his mission.

In the book of Matthew, Jesus is seen to preach around the region of Galilee and he only travelled to Jerusalem only once, however, in the book of john, Jesus preaches in several regions, which includes Jerusalem where he made at least four trips. The way that the two books have portrayed Jesus Christ differs a lot; in the book of Matthew, the divinity of Jesus is not revealed from the beginning especially to the disciples who only start acknowledging him later in his ministry. In the book of john, the divinity of Jesus Christ has been recognised which is evident by the name that his disciples use to refer to him. In addition, the account of signs and wonders which Jesus did in his ministry is different in the two books; while in the book of Matthew the miracles have been included because they happened at that particular time in Jesus ministry, john has used the miracles to show different attributes of Jesus. This explains why the miracles that Jesus performs in the book of john is completely different from those that he performed in the book of Matthew; for instance, the raising of Lazarus after four days is only found in the book of john (new king James version, john: 11 :1-57).

The difference in way the two books have portrayed the gospel can be seen to result from the type of message that they wanted to pass. While the book of Matthew was interested with general attributes of Jesus as his goodness, wisdom among others, the book of john is more interested with revealing who Jesus was including his superiority over all living things.

2. Beliefs in the traditional Christian church were important as they presented a way in which Christians could communicate with God; they enabled Christians to have faith in what they had not seen with the promise of going to heaven. However, these beliefs presented several challenges to the Christians. One of them was from the Jews and gentiles who did not believe in Jesus, this group of people always challenged Christians on their beliefs since they did not have evidence, in addition, to avoid the Christianity and their believes from spreading, they had resulted in persecution of Christians. Another problem with some of the belief that Christians had is that they took long to be fulfilled, for instance, when Jesus said he would come for his disciples soon, many believed that it would be in their lifetime, however when that did not come to pass, they started losing faith in those beliefs.

‘Believing in’ in Christian faith involved believing in Jesus Christ as the son of God and saviour of the world while ‘believing that’ means having faith that all the promises that he made would happen. In Christian faith, the importance of ‘believing in’ is that it made them have faith in God more since he had sent his only son to come and save the world while ‘believing that’ makes Christian have hope that Jesus will fulfil all the promises that he made.

3.

The first dimension of religion is rituals; these are ceremonies in Christian life, which can be taken to help a person go deeper in Christian faith. For instance, in Christianity, some rituals include baptism, dedication, Easter celebrations among others. The second dimension is narrative and mythic which are stories regarded as divine and revealed, in Christian faith narrative and mythic may include how God created the universe. The third dimension of religion is experiential and emotional which include emotions and feelings such as guilt and inner peace among others; in Christian faith, an example of example of experiential and emotional is the feeling one gets on encounter with holy spirit. The fourth dimension is social and institutional which includes beliefs and attitudes shared by a group; for instance, Christians believe that holy people will go to heaven while sinners will go to hell. The fifth dimension is ethical and human behaviour, which are the guidelines on how the members of a group should behave, in Christianity these may include the Ten Commandments and the two commandments that Jesus left. The sixth dimension is doctrinal and philosophical which in Christian faith are the bible and other church documents. The seventh dimension material in Christian faith may include things such as churches, tabernacles and crosses.
