Comparison between Summer and Winter
There are four main weather season that exists which are completely different from each other. However, there exists, two main season that excites the Americans, the winter and summer season. These two seasons are a complete opposite of each other; these two are quite common because they have their extremes and almost determine how we live for the next few months. There are debates that exist on which season is the best. Different individuals will always have different stands depending on their preferences. Summer may be far much better than winter because of the sun and the outdoor activities one can do, the food one consumes and the clothing seems so much better in the summer.
The common difference between these two seasons is the climatic conditions. Winter is the coldest season of the year. It comes after autumn and just right before spring. When a specific hemisphere of the earth is oriented away from the sun, winter occurs. During this period temperatures go below 0 degrees Celsius. There is snow, and at times it evens rains. Summer, on the other hand, is warm and sunny. It occurs right after spring. During months of June-August. The temperature during the day varies from 30 to 41 degrees Celsius and 29 degrees Celsius during the night.
Another key difference during this period is the kind of activities one can engage in. Both seasons have exciting things one can do. During the winter the exciting activities include ice skating, snowshoeing, building of snowman, snowball fight, winter hike, winter camping, snow tubing and so many other activities. Winter in itself may be a gloomy and boring season if one does not find activities to engage. Summer has the most exciting activities because of its climatic conditions, these activities vary from swimming, riding on a roller coaster, visiting the beach where you can bask in the sun, playing miniature golfs and other activities. Regarding activities, summer seems to be the best season. Some activities that can be done in winter can still be done during summer thus making it a much more versatile season.
Type of food consumed during these two seasons also completely varies. In summer the weather is hot, and thus most people would prefer taking of cold beverages as the will often be thirsty due to sweating. Fruits during these seasons are also available, they are very ripe and sold at very affordable prices. In winter, there are very few choices to choose from. During these seasons, it is freezing, and it is, therefore, important to take meals that bring warmth to the body. These foods include coffee, tea among other hot beverages. During these periods many people avoid consuming cold drinks as it may lead to some health complication. In cases when one needs to consume cold drinks, then they do it minimally. There is also a link between moods and the winter and summer season. Individuals experience seasonal affective disorder (SAD), “…some people experiencing symptoms of the seasonal affective disorder (SAD) in fall and winter months” a researcher had this to say (Blaszczak-Boxe). Neurotransmitters in the body such as serotonin varied between the seasons. During summer there is so much food one can eat including the foods one can eat during the winter
Comfort varies between these two seasons. Regarding clothing, when it’s cold you have to put on heavy clothing or enough throws to make yourself feel warm. While inside the hose gloves and socks are a great way of keeping an individual warm. It is a good feeling being warm that at times young may not notice the number of blankets you have on. During the hot season, it gets hot that you feel like total undressing, but the problems are you can only remove so much. The sweating too is unbearable. However, most people love the summer clothing; the light tops the shirts and loose clothes. “In summer, I’m happy wearing light, silky, delicate sleepwear to bed,” Sneaza had this to say in her fashion blog on clothing (Markoski). Light clothes make it easier to function or move around when compared to heavy clothing. In winter aside from the jackets and heavy sweater one also needs to wear things such as warm boots, coats, which are often dull colored. It is in winter you get to wear bright colors such as yellow, green, red and even pink. Summer is the only time you can go bold with colors. Heavy clothing may limit one to things such as running. Muscles during winter are tight but become quite flexible in summer
Plant growth and blooming of flowers during summer are stagnant. The leaves fall off while the seeds take weeks or months to germinate. Winter is the period of dormancy, plants tick but they don’t grow according to Sandra Mason a State Master Gardener Coordinator (Mason). This is due to the falling temperatures as well as the reduction between day lengths. Summer, on the other hand, has a good climate and temperate conditions especially for the blooming of flowers. There are flowers that can withstand the heat and can bloom well during the summer. Some of these flowers include Marigold, Black-eyed Susan, Aster, Lantana, Blanket Flower, Verbena, Zinnia, Hibiscus, Globe Amaranth and Purple coneflower. These flowers bloom well during summer and leave your garden looking all bright. Plants like seed and trees, on the other hand, do not do so well because of lack of rain and too much heat.
In a nutshell, the two seasons are completely different from each other. The similarity they may have is only the fact that the two are seasons. In winter you have things to enjoy such as staying indoors, taking hot beverages, snuggling on the bed or coach while covered in blankets and warm clothes. The best thing about summer is the outdoor activities such as swimming and the foods especially the cold drinks. Personally, I’d prefer summer over winter because of the temperatures. During summers there is the sun and un by the beach although it comes at the cost of heat rush and sunburns. Except the clothing, most things such as the food and the activities that happen in winter can still be done in summer.

Comparison between Sole Proprietorship and Partnership
In the world, today business has become an essential sector of earning a living as it incorporates all the members of the community regardless of the social status and other gender bias issues. It is one of the fields that cannot be ignored as it absorbs an enormous number of people in the society and significantly contributes to the gross domestic product of the nation. It is an arising matter that job opportunities have deprived in the community and the young people are undergoing significant suffering on finding a productive career after completion of their involving courses. However, with maximum utilization of the natural resources and business skills, the problem of career ambiguity among the graduates and other millennials will be curbed not only in the nation but worldwide. Therefore, it is inevitable to learn about different types of business that are essential in career establishment among which sole proprietorship and partnership are familiar and straightforward types in the society. In this paper, partnership and exclusive proprietorship business ventures are compared and contrasted in a profound extent in consideration of their composition as well as functionality.
Why do many people end up jobless and frustrated even after undergoing through the challenging education system? It is right that the career opportunities are limited, but the facts remain that people must be creative and innovative to enhance proper survivability in the competitive universe. In education, people are taught and equipped with the knowledge and skills to be innovative and productive, but they fail to employ them in the real world hence their suffering (Storey 2016). Many graduates have been complaining about career unpreparedness in colleges and other tertiary level institutions. It is right that the education sector can be significantly blamed for not offering their services to the best but the fact about life today does not depend on the already established ideas as they are highly competitive. Studying the society, identifying the gap that requires being filled and coming up with the practical solution to the problem is the critical thing towards entrepreneurship.
First, is looking at the differences between the two types of prominent business ventures. Considering their composition, as the word sole proprietorship depicts it is built up by one individual while partnership comprises two people or more people with a written agreement to run that particular business together. In naming the company, the owner may merely choose his name or any other name of his interest regarding the type of the entity. On the different hand naming of the partnership, the entity must be considerate of all the members’ opinions. With a sole proprietorship, there are minimal requirements as it only requires legal licensing, the social security and other necessary permits (Gitman, et al 2015). With the partnership, apart from the license and legal authorization by the government, the shareholders have to come up with an agreement as well as drafting their components to which will be put in adherence in running the business.
When it comes to a decision making it is comfortable with the sole proprietorship entity as the owner will conclude according to his or her will while the case is different with the partnership as all the stakeholders must be involved. Shareholders are part and parcel of the business when it comes to determining any issues regarding the company, and they must come up to an agreement. In case of conflict or misunderstanding of the stakeholders, decisions cannot be made. The owner of the sole proprietorship caters for everything required in establishing the business regarding capital and labor among many other resources as are necessary for its efficient running. The sole proprietor runs the business in adherence to own rules and principles and is the one to determine the business success. The case is different with the partnership as the partners select the management panel that will be responsible for running the business activities and their proficiency determines the business success in achieving the short-term as well as long-term goals.
The other difference between the two types of business ventures regards capital establishment and profit sharing. With a sole proprietorship, the owner funds the business wholly from its startup stage and is the one responsible for the profits achieved at the end. On the other side, partners share the production and business establishment cost, and at the end, they share the benefits according to members shares in the business. Here the sole proprietor carries all the burden of establishing the company and that becomes the reason behind their simple nature depending on the owner’s capability. Most of this kind of entities are small and do not comply a large number of employees. With proper management, partnership business entities perform remarkably as their capital sources are to an extent firm compared to sole proprietorship ventures (Cooper, et al 2016). The act of a sole proprietor is experiencing difficulties such as illness and other financial constraints; the business can be negatively affected while with partnership personal hardships cannot significantly affect the company to a profound extent.
Furthermore, there exist various similarities between the sole proprietorship business entities and partnership ventures. These similarities include personal liability, formation, business name, and taxation. In consideration of personal accountability, in both the organizations the owners are personally responsible for the business obligations as well as the debts. For instance, they are reliable of the responsibilities brought on by other partners while working for the business and the employees in the production process. While one issued under these two business entities, the personal possessions such as house may be put under the complainant’s claims. In naming the business, both operate under the name of the owners to avoid additional registration. The legal names of the owners as indicated on the tax filings and other paperwork identifies the business entity in both.
In consideration of their formation, both sole proprietorships and partnerships are relatively common business ventures as they have a simple set up and usually, it is not necessary to register with the government business registrar. The sole proprietor starts doing the business as soon as the proprietorship is formed and the case is same with the partnership as it is built with immediate effect after the two individuals start doing business together. Both can start a business without paying the government filing fees that are related to another business type. The other similarity is that both the sole proprietorship and partnership pay only personal income tax and does not pay double taxes like other corporations which significantly include business income tax (Abraham, et al. 2017).
As discussed above, it is true that there exist some differences between a partnership and sole proprietorship, but they are both simple as well as they do not require much in registration and taxation. Therefore, it is recommended for the millennials to venture into such kind of business in the attempt to curb the threat of joblessness but instead creating more opportunities. Business involves identifying a viable opportunity, taking a risk and making maximum utilization of the available resources to fill the gap. Therefore, let us encourage the graduates and other people with entrepreneurship skills to venture into the business field as it will significantly boost the nation’s economy.

The ability to communicate a message with the relevant audience is crucial in accomplishing a given task. Authors use various styles to convey their message; these people must consider the level of education, setting, and even the relevance of the message. In the world of science, logically articulating ideas is a critical phase in establishing the growth of knowledge. Writing in the scientific world is far much sophisticated as it relates to what the author is writing. On the other hand, a scientific paper is more of content rather than the style itself. Understanding the style is crucial in providing a well articulate paper that addresses all aspects of science need by the audience.
Turbek et al. (2016), describes scientific writing as an irrevocable approach or process that is inseparable with scientific paper and research papers contents. In science subjects such as biological sciences and chemistry, effective and efficient communication is key to the realization of set objectives and goals. Unlike other forms of writing, scientific writing is a step-by-step process that enables students to articulate science concepts, which further lead to the presentation of digestible information. Coherence and rationality are integral aspects of scientific writing; while writing scientific papers, students must support their idea by citing previous research and novel results.
Scientific writing has a unique format that guides the student to deliver the content logically. These guidelines appear in what that, students provide information from its primary to a complex level. This means that students must have a simple introduction at the same time they continue to dig deeper into providing a better understanding of the concept in question to their audience (instructors, lecturers, and even professors) (Scitable, 2014). Scientific writing is an integral entity in scientific paper writing; the approach is relevant in addressing the various parts of scientific and research paper. Critical sections in scientific writing include an introduction to the questions, proposed hypothesis, techniques to address the question, the results and their analysis, discussion, and finally, the recommendation. Notably, there are not harsh rules when it comes to scientific writing; constant writing is critical to building the relevant experience in handling scientific papers. The guides in scientific writing are fundamental in writing all types of scientific papers (Turbek et al., 2016). Students must have milestones to refer to while compiling content for a scientific paper.
To write scientific papers, an author must blend the question in context with the existing body of knowledge. A student must, therefore, understand how the current information fits into their literature. Understanding this art requires the student to familiarize themself with the previously researched topic before proceeding to the actual writing. Scientific writing and paper are clear, and this means that the ideas of the subject appear in precision—this mainly aims at avoiding bulkiness of information that may not add-up (Scitable, 2014). Besides, the language of scientific writing and scientific paper is simple to enhance understanding among the projected audience. Unlike other forms of writing, scientific writing does not flourish on assumptions; this means that one cannot make a statement without justifying it.
The scientific paper differs from scientific writing in that it has two types of audiences: the projected readers and the referees who gauge if the paper is sufficient for publication. To be accepted, a scientific paper must present their ideas in the chronologic order of the scientific writing guides. Other than presenting ideas, which is the crucial role of scientific writing, a scientific paper must convince the audience of its relevance to the audience and other scientists. A scientific paper is an application of the scientific writing process, with the crucial part being the presentation of the results and justification of their relevance, just like in scientific writing, presenting ideas in chronological order is crucial. The author must be creative to introduce the topic enticingly and also maintain the flow to kill boredom.
