Various healthcare professionals
Various healthcare professionals carry out quality improvement activities, including ARNPs and other advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs). As part of these quality improvement teams, you may be responsible for identifying, understanding, and solving problems within your organization and the communities, you serve. This may include identifying ways to standardize care and increase patient safety, implementing systems that make it easier for patients to receive care, or reducing costs associated with providing healthcare. While this may sound daunting, ARNPs and APRNs are uniquely qualified to lead these teams and make a real difference. While physicians lead some quality improvement initiatives, most are led by APNs or ARNPs. Those on the team may be a mixture of healthcare professionals, but APNs or ARNPs are often in charge. In some cases, these are collaborative initiatives in which a group of people with different backgrounds and perspectives come together to find solutions, (Wentao, 2022). In other cases, the industry is more top-down, with the APNs or ARNPs leading the process. The structure and approach of the team may vary depending on the needs of the initiative and the organization involved.
Organizations that bring APRNs and ARNPs into their process for quality improvement have seen numerous notable benefits. These include:
Increased awareness of quality improvement activities among healthcare providers: ARNPs and APRNs can help spread the word about the importance of quality improvement and make it a more central part of healthcare.
A more standardized approach to care: People involved in quality improvement efforts can help healthcare providers in their organization make their care more consistent and based on evidence-based practices, (Heinen, 2019).
Improved patient safety and satisfaction: Standardized approaches to care make it easier for patients to receive the care they need.
Reducing costs in healthcare: By making care more efficient and effective, healthcare providers can reduce the amount of money they spend providing care. More effective communication among healthcare providers: When everyone is on the same page and working towards the same goals, it is easier for them to communicate and collaborate. Increased efficiency and productivity: When people in the healthcare industry work together to make care more accessible and effective, they can complete tasks more quickly.
Quality improvement is one of the most pressing issues in healthcare today. This is one area where every healthcare organization can use all the help it can get. Every healthcare professional, including advanced practice nurses, can contribute to improving healthcare quality. By bringing APRNs into quality improvement efforts, healthcare organizations can make even more progress on this critical issue.

Various Effects
Various Effects of Using Compound or Complex Strength-Power Training during in-season in Team Sport. In this article, we will discuss the effects of using compound or complex Strength-Power Training during in-season in Team Sport. We will provide a summary of the literature and evidence for this topic, and then conclude with our recommendations for Physical Preparation Professionals and Coaches.
Team Sport athletes require a fitness development system that can maintain strength performance capacity during training sessions and competition, but also allow for sufficient recovery to fully prepare for the next training session or competition. Strength training paradigms are appropriate exercises that can be used by athletes to improve their strength performance capacity (1). Based on these findings, Strength-Power Training is often recommended by coaches because they have seen it produce better results than other types of programs (2).
Popular Strength-Power Training programs typically include traditional Olympic lifts such as squats, bench presses and deadlifts, or variations of these exercises (3). These exercises can be used in a complex or a compound way. Complex strength-power training involves the execution of a lift with a specific weight followed immediately by an explosive power movement with approximately 50% of the weight used during the previous lift. For example, barbell squat (with 135 lbs.) followed by the jump squat (with 70 lbs.). Compared to complex strength-power training, compound strength-power training involves performing different lifts with different weights in one repetition. For example, barbell back squat (with 135 lbs.) plus bench press (with 115 lbs.). Most athletes do not fully recover from complex strength-power training and thus they may develop overtraining syndrome (1). Effective recovery is necessary to avoid overtraining or injury (Abade et al., 2020).
One study has shown that the use of compound strength-power training can decrease the risk of overuse injuries in team sport athletes (1). In fact, when compared with no strength-power training, a program of simple strength-power training (exercises performed multiple times per week) only resulted in an increased incidence of injuries in team sport athletes (4). Another study found that after 5 months’ team sport athletes performed 18.8% more vertical jump squat and 13.5% more depth jumps than non-athletes (Abade et al., 2020).

Various Achievements Of Public Health
Various Achievements Of Public Health
Public health is a science and art that involves the protection and improvement of the health of communities through educating them, promotion of their lifestyles as well as doing research on diseases and preventing injuries. The core functions of public health are assessment, policy development and assurance. Assessment involves the monitoring of the health status as well as the environment and solves the environmental problems in the community. It also involves the diagnosis and investigation of the environmental health problems as well as health hazards found in the community. Policy development involves informing, educating as well as empowering the community on the environmental health issues. It also entails the development of polices and plans that are aimed at supporting individuals and the entire community on the environmental health efforts. Lastly assurance involves law enforcements and regulations which protect environmental health and safety. It also involves assuring there is a competent environmental workforce in place (CDC, 2013). The scientific disciplines in public health are ; Behavioral Science/Health Education, Biostatistics, Health, Emergency, Epidemiology, Nutrition, Maternal and Child Health, Public Health Policy and so on.
There are various achievements of public health and they include vaccine developments which have reduced the cases of deaths from the diseases which can be prevented by vaccines. It has also led to the prevention as well as control of infectious diseases such as TB. there has also been improvement in maternal and infant health since now there is more screening done to new born which paves way for early intervention and treatment of infants that are born with defects. There has also been improvement in the safety of motor vehicles since there has been development of some policies like car-seat requirements and seatbelt which have greatly contributed to a decline in the death rates related to motor vehicle travel. Occupational safety has also improved in many workplaces. Other achievements are decline in death due to coronary heart diseases and stroke, family planning eating foods that are safe and healthy and so on (South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control ,2012).
Environmental studies and public health
Environmental studies are a field that incorporates mathematics, social sciences, geology, chemistry and biology so as to make an establishment of how human beings and the natural world form an interaction. Therefore environmental studies are of great importance to public health .the air we breathe, water that we drink, and the interaction which is complex between humans and the surrounding. Environmental studies help us understand how the build as well as the natural environment can influence the health of people in a community. It also helps us understand how the risk factors that cause certain diseases can be reduced. The environmental; risk factors can lead to development of diseases such as cancer, asthma and food poisoning. Due to incorporation of chemistry, engineering and toxicology in environmental studies there can be combined expertise that will help in answering public health related questions. Environmental health which is a discipline of both public heath and environmental studies can be divided into various aspects like water quality, noise control, air quality, food protection, management of solid waste and so on. All these are important aspects that contribute to public health (Association of Schools of Public Health, 2013).
Biostatistics and public health
Biostatistics entails the development and application of methods of statistics so as to understand that arises in public health. Using biostatistics one can identify health trends which can eventually be instrumental in development of life saving measures through applying procedures, techniques and methodologies of statistics. Biostatistics can also be used in the forecasting of scenarios, identifying trends in health that are found in a particular community, the explanation of certain biological phenomena, determining causes of injury and diseases and so on. Biostatistics forms an integral part of public health (Association of Schools of Public Health, 2013).
