1. Go to OWL @ Purdue. (Anytime the student sees text in red on my Canvas course shell, there is a link to a web article or resource there).
2. Look up “MLA Works Cited Page” Books in the “Table of Contents” on the left hand side of the page.
3. Click on “MLA Works Cited Page.”
4. Read the information that is there and use it to create a citation for the edition of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance that you have purchased.
5. Type the Works Cited entry for your edition into the document file you will submit eventually for the Research Journal grade.
6. Now, go back to the “Table of Contents” and look for “MLA In-text Citations: The Basics.”
7. Click on “MLA In-text Citations: The Basics.”
8. Read the information there and use it to document at least five quotes from ZMM that have inspired the line of inquiry you are pursuing in this class.
9. Type the five quotes or data points from the book below the works cited citation for ZMM. Include the properly formatted parenthetical citation information as explained on OWL @ Purdue.
10. Copy and paste what you have typed on your document into the text box that appears here when you click on the “Submit Assignment” button. Canvas will auto assign an anonymous peer’s submission to you to review as well. Use what you learned to give your peer valid feedback. This is a two part assignment. No feedback on a peer’s submission will result in a zero on this assignment.
US History 1492-1865
US History 1492-1865
Based on the readings from “Sinners in the Hand of an Angry God” and the excerpt from the “Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin” documents, The First Great Awakening sometimes referred to as the Great Awakening was the religious movement that was sweeping the English colonies. America was getting divided, and this is what ked to the rise of the Awakening or the new light, with its preachers setting up their own schools and churches throughout the colonies in England and one of the schools set up by the Awakening preachers was the Princeton University. Different dominations such as the old light refused to join and accept the new style of worship introduced by the Great Awakening movement, and despite the conflict, there still existed a greater religious toleration. So many dominations were set up, and by then it was clear that no religion would reign over the other.
The main inspiration for the Great Awakening was in the reaction against the Enlightenment, and as well it was a long term cause of the Revolution. Before the Great Awakening movement, the ministers represented the upper class, but after the movement, the ministers were not always ordained, breaking down the respect for betters. The introduction of the new faiths led to a more democratic religion due to their approach. The overall message for the new faiths was that of greater equality. The Great Awakening Movement was also a national occurrence, and it was the first major events that could be shared by all colonies in England, and this helped in breaking down the differences between the colonies and this led to the political consequences.
The Great Awakening challenges the social and political norms and helped changed the perspective of the colonists in regard to the larger British empire as it advocated for equality and democracy for all and at the same time in their preaching advocated for the sinners to recognize that God will judge them and that the judgement would be more fearful and painful than anyone could comprehend including the colonizers. It is through this that the Great Awakening was able to spread so rapidly in the colonies as they advocated for the greater equality and no oppression.

The effects meaningful use and certified health records technology is greatly felt in the health care system. These comprises of both the positive and the negative effects of the certified health records in the health care system (Nicolas,2005).
History of the problem and why it is a problem
Certified health records technology includes the electronic storage of medical information belonging to patients in within an institution. The effects of the meaningful use and certified health records in the health care system can be traced back to a time in history when it became so difficult and hectic to rely on paper based information on the patients within the health care institutions. The shift from manual paper – based records to meaningful use is a problem since most of the staff in the medical institutions had to adopt and learn the skill of operating the new technology together with the challenges of these new technology( Nicolas,2005).
Where and for whom it is a problem
The meaningful use and certified health records is a problem in the health care institutions and all the other services which have a direct link to the institutions such as the ambulance services. The meaningful use and certified electronic records is a problem to the medical staff as well as those working with the ambulance services. The problem arises when the staff is not a position to access the patients’ details and information due to lack off the skill associated with the electronic health records.
The purpose of my research on this problem
The purpose of my research on this problem was to identify the various effects of the meaningful use and certified electronic health records technology on the health care records. There are both positive and negative effects of the meaningful use and the certified electronic health records technology (Abrams,2011).
To begin with, some of the positive effects of the meaningful use and certified electronic health records technology include the issue of the storage space. With the electronic health recordstechnology, there is less usage of storage space as opposed to the paper based records. The paper based records required a lot of storage space due to the volume of the records.
The certified electronic health records has increased efficiency in the medical institutions since there is a likelihood of occurrence of less errors in the keeping of the health records. This is opposed to the paper based records which has so many errors. This could also be explained in terms of the time taken to retrieve information found in an electronic storage media which is lesser compared to retrieving paper based records which is time consuming (Abrams,2011).
On the contrary, the health care technology has led to faster speed when it comes to accessing the health care records. The increased access could also increase the chances of illegalised accessibility. The health records could be hacked by malicious persons and tamper with them (Kierkegaard,2010).
There is also increased cost in the healthcare system as many of the medical staff have to be trained on how to use the new technology. The increased cost of training is met by the customers who use the services hence high cost of the medical services
If the meaningful use and the certified electronic health records technology has to be very effective, key measures has to be put in place to ensure effectiveness.
