Hamlet -To be or not to be – parody
Introduction
Parody can be defined as the use of another person’s work for the purpose of creating a humor. The following is a parody that seeks to ridicule the verse in Hamlet’s work ‘to be or not to be’
To do math or not to do math- that is the question
That lingers in many students’ minds,
Whether tis good to spend sleepless nights
Trying to operate figures that always give wrong answers.
Is it wise for one to torture the mind?
Trying to chase the wind
Or telling the waves to stop hitting the shore?
All these are futile efforts and they will come to naught.
But the life, the careers, they perpetuate this state of being haunted
That one has no option but to excel in arithmetic.
This leaves the students in a dilemma,
Whether to get harassed and stand better chance in a job market
Or to risk their lives.
Thus no one wants to quit, even if the going is tough
But the question still lingers,
Is it worth to continue in this torture?

Problem Solving Process
The death of my fiancée is the most distressing situation that has ever happened to me, something that has constantly had a devastating impact on my wellbeing. What makes the situation even worse is that he was gunned down when we were together by unknown assailants. Though the whole situation later came out to be an accident, the situation continues to bother me even up to today, with a myriad of questions lingering in my mind over why the dearest person to me had to die in such a gruesome manner. I consider this situation as a monumental problem that happened to me, more than just an issue. I consider the situation as a problem due to its depth and gravity which to me is too wearisome to be termed an issue.
A problem can be viewed as a perceived gap that exists between the existing state and a desired state. It can also be seen as a deviation from the norm or the status quo. In the same line, an issue can be perceived in terms of a topic for discussion or debate (Gammack et al, 2006). An issue can be viewed further as a personal problem or difficulty affecting an individual. With regard to these descriptions, I continue considering my situation as a problem bearing in mind that, the death of my fiancée is to me a huge gap that I have a desire of filling and find a lasting solution.
The idea of whether a situation is a problem or an issue is an intriguing one, which requires a deep understanding in order to understand the best situation in which, the two can be accommodated. A further distinguishing between the two could be viewed in the sense that an issue is something that needs to be addressed, while a problem would mean that, something in a specific situation needs to be changed (Gammack et al, 2006). With regard to my devastating situation, the matter cannot be handled as an issue since there is no way the death of my fiancée can be addressed, in a manner aimed at justifying or disregarding the situation. On the other hand, however, I can change my attitude and view the death as a natural part of life one must endure. The death problem, therefore, can be viewed as a matter that needs a change of attitude to be contained, but cannot be an issue that is debatable as a means of bearing it, considering that it is a natural occurrence.
Expressing my problem would be in a manner that finds a solution to the distressing problem. Understanding a problem as something that has a solution is crucial to solving the problem in order to bring tranquility. This does not mean that I have any intentions or plans of eliminating the idea that the death actually occurred, but instead coping with the problem in a manner that solves the pain that comes with the death. I would, therefore, express my problem as a distressing situation, but in a manner implying that the problem can be conquered. Trying to express the issue as an issue would imply that the matter is bound to linger, which is not my present need. Since I feel that I need to solve the distressing situation, I would further express my problem with optimism in order to find a lasting solution and solve the problem in the process, rather than keep it as an issue that would continue boggling my mind forever.

Introduction
Leaning often occurs through varied strategies. While in class, the most likely technique of learning is undoubtedly listening to the teacher and maybe asking questions. However, other techniques apply in the real world as I learnt while working at the Saudi Telecom Company in Saudi Arabia. As a new employee in the company, I was in the dark about quite a large number of things. While I may have had the necessary academic credentials, applying them in the company operations seems a bit difficult for me. This does not mean that my academic credentials were not useful. In fact, they formed a foundation on which I built my knowledge in the company through observing my partner make the entries. Learning from working alongside my partner allowed me to have a hands-on experience that can be applied in varied fields and enterprises. It allowed for the application of the knowledge that I had gained in school, as well as clarify some issues that were unclear back in school. This is especially with regard to the use of SPSS and QuickBooks accounting packages and software, which previously seemed confusing. As much as learning to use them was not easy, it did not take long for me to become excellent in their application.
A large part of my learning comes from attending classes. This comes in handy especially considering that I have the chance of asking questions where I do not understand. However, there are instances where understanding the teacher is a bit difficult. In fact, many are the times when I find it difficult to understand his lessons as he speaks extremely fast. In essence, I find it easier to do individual research especially in the internet. YouTube comes in handy in this case as I can access another lecture on the same topic and play it over and over again until I have grasped the topic. On the same note, I can complement the YouTube lessons with lessons from books in the internet, as well as discussion forums where I can ask questions and get clarifications from people who are better at the topics. This not only improves my knowledge in the topics, but also enhances my capacity to research on varied topics in the internet. In addition, it enhances my communication skills especially considering that I would have to be able to express myself well for my question to be understood in the discussion forums.
Needless to say, learning does not always take place at the very first instance. While one may have understood the concept, doing it appropriately may take time. Repetition has always been the key to getting better in the varied things in which an individual may take part. In my case, not only did I have to apply repetition in my academic journey but also in extracurricular activities. While I have been a huge fan of soccer, I have not been very good when it comes to playing. Shooting the ball and coordinating my legs in such a manner that I do not end up making my team lose was a terribly difficult thing for me. At first, I could not shoot the soccer ball straight. Repeated practicing came in handy in this case. Despite the fact that I could do it better after repeated trials, I still had to try harder. However, I managed to perfect the art of playing soccer after repeated trials. This included the management of the ball, coordination with the team, as well as defending against the opponents.
