Since time immemorial multiple conceptions have occurred to many women in the world and most successfully carried their pregnancies term (Eric, 2009, p 113). Most are also lucky to have successful deliveries despite encountering numerous glitches during their pregnancy term. Some of such glitches encountered include high blood pressure as in our case with Francesca. In this case only three of the four embryos are attached which according to the current medical standards is not extremely threatening and can be catered for. The greatest issue I would bring up being an ethicist is the issue of ethics with the physician’s advice at hand.
We can make an assumption that Francesca is a health lady despite having blocked fallopian tubes. Before she autonomously agreed to the idea of the in-vitro fertilization, she was fully aware of the consequences but she volunteered herself to take risk. The physician had according to the medical ethics explained the perils of in-vitro fertilization but Francesca and her partner had agreed to take risk since they were desperate for a child of their own. The physician having fully disclosed the consequences left the choice to Francesca who was up for the task.
Ethically and legally abortion is not acceptable in the society at any stage of life (Eric, 2009, p. 212). Having known the dangers of In-vitro fertilization, Francesca and her partner would have gone for the adoption option. Since high blood pressure is treatable and curable, she should not at all costs procure an abortion. Instead she should carry the pregnancy to term since she consented to the idea of conceiving through in-vitro fertilization having fully known the consequences. She will not be the first to give birth to triplets neither will she be the last. Therefore, I would strongly recommend that she carry the pregnancy to term.

Tools Used in Domestic Terrorism
Domestic terrorism has been on the rise in recent years in the United States. According to the Federal Bureau of investigation, domestic terrorism refers to terrorist activities that operate entirely within the United States without direction from external sources. Their actions are motivated by the issues which are so rife in the American Political scene and social concerns in general. Terrorists use violent acts such as beheadings, bombing in public places and armed attacks to intimidate their subjects. Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) uses several tools to counter domestic terrorism.
Firstly, the criminal justice system is used as a useful tool for countering domestic terrorism. The criminal justice system is perfect source of intelligence concerning terrorist outfits. In the courtrooms, suspects are given a platform for providing accurate and verifiable information. In the process, the judiciary aims to maximize collection of information from communities. Additionally, the criminal justice system works effectively by significantly incapacitating the terrorists. Successfully prosecuting the terrorists is a perfect technique where the HSEM effectively uses to ensure those with wicked intentions get locked away from the general public. The justice system is, therefore, an effective counterterrorism tool (White, 2016).
Secondly, training activities are conducted by HSEM. It takes the center stage in providing training courses to individuals especially groups of people like students and workers in a particular organization to combat instances of terrorism. It divides the training workshops effectively to integrate specific methods to specific social groups. They advise groups on the best approaches to social safety and security. They provide safety assessments and ways to respond to violent intruders. In addition to that, they offer access controls to points for safety points in case disaster strikes. Countering domestic terrorism involves instilling in the hearts of people the willingness to respond to situations despite the villains being part of the training programs.
Thirdly, collection and analysis of intelligence is a tool that is employed widely in tackling domestic terrorism. Experts refer to it as the first line of defense before an attack occurs in a place. HSEM uses a multifaceted approach in tactfully analyzing the situations to thwart the plots of the terrorists. By doing so, the security organ penetrates groups with suspicious intentions while maintaining an anonymous identity. The intelligence collected undergoes a process of scrutiny and analysis to realize the full plans of the groups fully. Information obtained helps to determine the time when the place is at great risk and the tactics that the terrorists may use during the attack. It is, however, not relied to a great extent by HSEM because it is not a surefire indicator of impending attack or danger. Therefore, it only serves to guide decision making (White, 2016).
In conclusion, HSEM ensures the above tools are well coordinated and blended to suit a specific counterterrorism activity. By using the above tools effectively, Homeland security and emergency management unit successfully avoids, denies and defend strategies which are of evil intention to the security of the people. The tools as outlined above provide strategies and guidance for surviving any form of terrorist attack within the country. Information is a powerful tool that is engrained in the DNA of the organization thus showing its significance. Since it is a sensitive docket, HSEM employs the best tactics which are suited for specific attacks.

The paper presents synthesis of two essays; the school days of an Indian girl and College in New York with the major reading being the day the narrator set out to go to College in New York. The experiences and challenges faced by the authors in their new environment are very horrible however; they ultimately attain self-realization or overcome them. In the beginning, the narrator while headed to College in New York seems to be carried away by every bit of the thought of the experiences she would encounter. The experience is vividly captured when she says that she felt like a pilgrim set to find New World. The same case applies to the narrator in the school days of an Indian girl who like the other is much excited to journey to their new home. Their levels of anticipation of the goodies in the journey and experiences are quite high as evidenced by their unsettled manner in both stories. Such an experience is real especially when travelling or visiting a place for the first time. The expectations are high, and the experiences normally are anticipated to be awesome.
However, the experiences turn out to be horrific upon the commencement of the journey to the new places for both narrators. The narrator in the first story is disturbed by the manner in which they are scrutinized along their way to Red Apple Country. Both the journeys are tiresome as they take a long time with the second narrator travelling for a whole night.
Upon reaching destinations, the experiences seem to be very nasty but worth taking as they had no choice. The new environments are very much different with the second narrator saying that New York was quiet, with no much hustle and bustle on the streets. The thought of the new environment and the whole experience in New York seems to excite the narrator. However, the Indian girl seems to be very perturbed with her new environment, and the experience made her worried. The narrator in the first story captures that even though there was cold from the ice, she was trembled by fear. The experience is quite same even in real life situations, whereby individuals are always scared of their new environments especially when they have little information about their new homes.
Additionally, the first encounters with friends in the foreign lands seem to be annoying in both cases. For instance, the narrator in the first story remembers being gripped by two firm hands of a woman who had paleface. The narrator finds herself in a confused situation being handled in a manner that frightened her. She could not imagine this handling and could not even relate to the way her mother treated her or even handled her. However, the second narrator finds ambience l environment in her college. She sees a people joyous and describes them as people who looked settled to the world that they were born. The general landscape and architecture of the college seem to attract the second narrator. In her comparisons, the campus buildings could only equal palaces, and the stretch of the compound could only be comparable to park. The new experience by the narrator postulates the high expectations she would have of her environment. For the second narrator, the beauty she had longed for was right before her. The beauty of places! The beauty of people! And the beauty of a cool environment.
The way of living of people in both cases seems to be very different from the ways of living of both narrators back in their homes. The second narrator meets people who are modest in their attire, walk and laughs. She meets individuals with well shaven hair, simple dressing. She can only compare them to the richest store keepers who also in her view could not still match these individuals. Similarly, the second narrator finds herself in an environment with a new set of rules far from the normal rules she knows of. When attending classes, there are different set of bells with different meanings. She fights to adjust and learn, but experience seems to be the best teacher. She encounters individuals whose eating are bound and guided by formulas. Her experience with these set of new rules and ventures turns out to be distasteful to her leaving her only to cry. The language for the first narrator is not apprehensible, and only Judéwin could get a grasp of the English words. Just like the second narrator, the individuals in the case of Indian girl had well shaven hair something that the Indian girl found strange; especially looking at her background where only unskilled warriors had short hair given that their hair had been shingled by the enemy.
With time, both narrators seem to learn the way of living and quickly adjust to play by the rules of the game. Within the first year, the Indian girl had learnt some broken English and at least would communicate with the rest. She struggles to overcome the challenges and once in a while would get herself in the wrong side of the rules and would be punished. Interesting, the Indian girl would always find a way to abscond the punishments. On the other hand, the second narrator goes through some fussy experience in adjusting in her school, she struggles to work for Martin, who would pay her 50 cents an hour in order for her to live like the rest of her schoolmates and dress like them. She does her best to cope with the school schedule and rules and at one point fails to attend the Physical Exercise classes. The narrator finds the exercise very hard and luckily she is excused. In the end, the narrator adjusts to the way of living and school programs and would attend birthday parties, midnight spread and even dances. Experience in both cases seems to be the best teacher and with these experiences the individuals attain self-realization.
