Political Violence
This book by Jonathan Brooder discusses how political Violence has affected the well-being of human beings. The author analysis how former president Trump and his competitor Joe Biden brought about political Violence in the United States (Broder, 2022). The article oversees how political Violence brings about loss of lives, a decline in economic growth levels, and loss of foreign investors, among others.
This case brings to our attention a case of two powerful American Presidential Candidates, former President Donald Trump and sitting president Joe Biden in the 2020 elections. The former president’s supporters do not believe they lost the election (Known as Republicans). The policy goal of this article is that there is a conflict that is believed to threaten civil unrest and the United States’ standing as a liberal democracy. Jonathan Brooder points out three policy conditions in the United States to one degree or another: The first is the presence of political parties that are deeply polarized along ethnic, racial, or religious lines. The other policy under conflict is how a major political party is resorting to undemocratic to maintain power. The third; is the rise of a charismatic political figure that is believed to have exploited the fears of a once-dominant social group.
Political experts have been reported to believe that the rise of politics, which are polarized, is a direct result of the seen changes in the policies that have taken place in the United States society and culture. The increase in racial and ethnic diversity has been reported to influence why most Americans had to protest on the streets following the number of deaths caused by discrimination based on color and ethnicity, which are related to political backgrounds (Broder, 2022). Ethnical groups declared to give a fight that would result in their voices being heard by those in power. The claims of political Violence based on race and ethnicity bring the competing parties to strategies of enacting new policies that must move into the Americans Political mainstream.
The analyst is concerned that Violence is justified due to poor law enforcement. Political violence rates have increased in most countries where citizens believe that majority and powerful political parties are believed to amend the constitutions to protect their interests. The author states that capital assault is one of the main reasons for the outburst of political extremism. The supporters of the majority political parties have been found to take advantage of the current situation, posing threats against public officials and educators regarding how elections are to be conducted. Jonathan further reports in this article among the factors that contribute to political Violence is social media. The spread of conspiracy theories results in inflaming racist, antisemitic, and anti-government passions, which result in political Violence.
The author of this report relates how, in 1932, Justice Louis Brandeis called the states “laboratories” of democracy (Broder, 2022). He was trying to show how political parties work out social and economic experiments without considering the risk it brings to the people. Policies must be enacted to create political values to deal with such behaviors, which will be seen as the foundations of people’s political behaviors like voting or protesting. The unfair introduction of 250 bills is among the causes of Violence, where they are introduced to restrict voting and disproportionately affect voters of color; these denials them the justice to elect this preferred leader.
The enacted laws that ostensibly promote election integrity also have a dark side because the policies’ critics might make it harder to vote. The election systems must be made more accessible to handle the future electoral volume to deal with such restrictions. Bringing up an electoral integrity system is a significant control of political Violence. New voting laws, like provisions that add greater access to early–people voting, will help reduce wait time at the polling stations and enable new identification for those who didn’t turn up for voting.
In creating a conducive environment for practicing political rights, lawmakers must develop values that prevent denouncing mob violence and role inciting by political leaders (Broder, 2022). Those under constitutional offices must independently criticize those inciting people for bringing about Violence. The polls show that the readiness of those who turn out to violence results from incitement. The people are taught to refuse to pay taxes; this brings about Violence.
Overall, the result of political Violence is never good; the attacks lead to the loss of young, innocent people who know nothing about politics. When people protest on the streets, the government has to spend on protective measures. The unlawful effects call for efforts to hold the perpetrators accountable and must face criminal charges in connection to trying to threaten US democracy for their selfish advantage.

This is a combination of efforts where some people have formed a network to pool money through the internet with the aim of assisting efforts of other people and organizations. The crowdfunding platform is meant to provide support to various activities such as citizen journalism, artists, companies that are starting up, picture promotions, software development, scientific research, political campaigns and disaster relief. It is also involved in funding companies through the sale of equity to several investors. This has obtained much attention by US policy makers where they have been mentioned in JOBS Act which paves way for the small investors who have few restrictions.
The crowdfunding platform has its roots from crowdsourcing. This is where individuals are able to reach their goal through leveraging and obtaining from people small contributions. Crowd funding applies the same notion as it involves obtaining funds through collecting small contributions from several people or parties with the aim of financing a certain project. The input by the individuals influences the outcome. Every person participating in the process plays a role of an agent with the aim of promoting a project. The participants play the role of donating aiming at helping the social project. Sometimes they also become shareholders as their contributions are involved in the growth and development of the project.
Crowdfunding is an application of collecting money by having small contributions by several parties so as to finance a venture or a specific project. The crowd funding model has participants ranging from the organizations and people who are suggesting the project that requires funds. It also involves the people who are very much supporting the project. It later on gets support from the organization which is in this case the platform which has the role of connecting the crowd and the initiator of the project.
There very many crowdfunding platforms. The creators of projects therefore have a duty to perform an investigation so as to understand the best platform to use having in mind the project they would want to be funded. An example is the Crowdcube which is an internet platform that makes the small companies be in apposition to use the internet in issuing of shares. They in return obtain small investments. The Crowdfunding platforms therefore make the required conditions and organizational systems involved in resource integration to take place.
Relational mediators such as the Kickstarter and SellaBand are responsible for acting like the intermediary between the demand and supply. They replace the venture capitalists and record companies which are traditional intermediaries. The platforms connect the designers, new artists and the project initiators with supporters who are committed and believe in those that are for the project very much with the aim of offering the financial support required.
The growth engines aim at strong inclusion by the investors. They are involved in eliminating all the activities meant for service provider who was initially the one to work on networking people together. The crowdfunding platforms obtain stakes through the high network community which match and are worth private investors with project initiators.

The terror threat aimed at Hoover Dam in Nevada has the following people as vulnerabilities; employees of the dam, the surrounding community, security forces, and the general population.
How I will reduce the vulnerabilities
To reduce the number of vulnerabilities I will advise people to vacate the location and reinforce security in the region in an effort to reduce the casualty numbers in the region.
People to be informed about this threat
The key people to be informed about this threat are the security forces in the local area including the police and the military, the anti-terror squad, the counter-terror squad, and the population to be on the alert for any suspicious activities or movements in the area. The Germany embassy and government also needs to be informed in case they can provide more intelligent information about the threat and possible ways to stop the terror attack.
Type of threat
This is a terrorist threat that emanates form the international community therefore, it is of diplomatic nature.
Diplomatic, informational (media), military, and/or economic, assets can I use
The key diplomatic assets that I can use include communication channels and connections with the outside community to try and bring the terrorists to a negotiation or understand their background more. Information that I will gather will be an important asset in terms of understanding the movements and giving directions to the people in an effort reduce the extend of the threat. Military assets will play a critical role to neutralize the threat and at the same time provide technical support and information. Economic assets will play the role of cushioning people who might be affected in one way or the other as a result of the threat.
Media talking points
The media talking points will revolve around safety of the people, messages of hope and assurance, giving timely information on the development of the situations and the possible outcome of the failure of citizens to fail to give information.
Civil-military partnerships
The civil-military partnerships will be in terms of corporation from the public to give information to the military while the military will protect the civilians. In this kind of arrangement it will be easy for the partnership to work both as an anti-terror and counter-terror strategy.
Site Protection
I will protect the sight by reinforcing the site with equipped security force. Cutting off the reach of the site from any direction by either land or air. Lastly, I will shut down the operations of the site from outside forces so that the situation is contained.
