Using the concept of political feasibility to describe how 2020 Co-V2 has led people to confuse feasibility with desirability. Give two detailed examples of feasibility. Theory-Based Case Study Paper
Students will develop a Case Study based on a character in the film, Girl, Interrupted, with a theory-specific case conceptualization, including a treatment plan, for their theory of choice. The character I am using is the main character Susanna Kaysen. I am using Cognitive Behavioral Theory.
1. Vignette: Students will write a brief 2-3 paragraph vignette about the case client selected from the film–Girl, Interrupted (1999). This should include but is not limited to, the description of the client, areas of concern, presenting problems, presenting symptoms, etc. (5 POINTS)
2. Theory for Case Study: Students will write a description of the theory selected to develop their case while addressing their client’s areas of concern.
Choose one theory from the following:
Hint: Make sure you choose a theory that is a good fit for treating the presenting problem you choose. You will find certain problems lend themselves to certain theories. (5 POINTS)
3. Case Conceptualization Doc: Assess the client in the vignette using the case conceptualization information from Theory and Treatment Planning in Counseling and Psychotherapy. Case Conceptualization forms will be posted on Bb for each other theories above. (5 POINTS)
4. Treatment Plan Doc: Develop a treatment plan using the form that will be posted on Bb. Each treatment plan should be designed using the selected theory

5. Summary of the Case: Student will provide an overall summary of the case, including all of the sections from above. The Summary of the Case should include the case vignette, a description of the theory selected with rationale as to why that theory was chosen, a case conceptualization as well as the treatment plan. (5 POINTS)
6. Citations: Students will need to cite 3 original academic sources for the theory chosen for the treatment plan (must be academic articles or books—online web and wiki pages will not count towards this total). (5 POINTS)
All assignments must be typed in accordance with the current edition of the APA Publication Manual. Additionally, students should include a cover page and a reference page, not part of the page count. Papers should be written using third person, scholarly writing.
