Part A
Critical Thinking Framework
Instructions:
Maximum length: 1 page (250 words)
Using a standard size (8.5 x 11) document, develop a Critical Thinking Framework that includes:
Relevant Case Study:
- Identify relevant data from the case study.
Clinical Manifestations/Complications:
- Identify relevant clinical manifestations from the case study and include related research (5 minimum).
- Clinical Manifestations must be physiological and psychosocial.
Priority Nursing Diagnosis/Problems :
- Identify two (2) priority-nursing diagnoses based on the selected clinical manifestations.
- Nursing diagnosis must be physiological and psychosocial.
Interventions:
- Identify five (5) treatment and/or illness prevention strategies (priority) related to each nursing diagnosis.
- Identify evidence based treatment/prevention strategies.
- Please note: Treatment or illness prevention strategies must include a wide range of activities such as health teaching, nutritional planning, nursing interventions and drug therapy.
- Collaborative practice must be included to demonstrate knowledge of roles/responsibilities of the health care team members.
- All treatment or prevention strategies should be specific and client centered (relate back to client and context identified in the case study). Please ensure that all interventions include in text citations and references.
- Please highlight the selected pathway in this Critical Thinking Framework that will be used for your paper (Part B).
Part B
Scholarly Written Paper
Include introduction and a conclusion relevant to the case study
- Provide a written paper related to the selected case-study with evidence-based rationales to justify the links that you have made in the Critical Thinking Framework (Part A). Include evidence-based rationales to support the path that you have chosen.
Relevant Case Study Data:
- Provide evidence-based rationales to support your selection of the relevant case study data from the case scenario.
- Use peer reviewed articles to support your rationales.
Clinical Manifestations:
- Provide evidence-based rationales to support your selection of priority Clinical Manifestation(s).
- Selected two (2) clinical manifestations to discuss. These clinical manifestations must relate to the selected nursing diagnoses
- Use peer reviewed articles to support your rationales.
Nursing Diagnosis:
- Select only one (1) Nursing Diagnosis
- Provide evidenced based rationale to support your selection of the one (1) priority nursing diagnosis.
Interventions:
- Justify your selection of five (5) priority interventions that relate to the (one) 1 selected nursing diagnosis.
- Use peer reviewed articles to support your rationales.
Everyday Psychometrics
Everyday Psychometrics
This chapter’s Everyday Psychometrics presents information and test results regarding police using body cameras. Please read this article. You are then assigned the task of conducting your own survey of published research in this area and writing a report summarizing the research they reviewed on this topic and present your findings.
Research the topic and present in a 5 -7 page, APA formatted paper, works cited. Title page and reference page.
Interview a family and analyze their relationships support systems and stressors ecomap and genogram
Interview a family and analyze their relationships support systems and stressors ecomap and genogram
This assignment requires you to interview a family, and then illustrate their interfamilial relationships as well as their external support systems and stressors
by creating a genogram and ecomap. You will then analyze the ecomap and genogram.
Objectives
Demonstrate your ability to interview a family and analyze their relationships, support systems, and stressors.
Describe both positive and negative relationships between family members.
Identify nursing interventions and strategies that promote positive relationships and reduce family stressors.
References
Minimum of four (4) total references: two (2) references from required course materials and two (2) peer-reviewed references. All references must be no older than five years (unless making a specific point using a seminal piece of information)
Peer-reviewed references include references from professional data bases such as PubMed or CINHAL applicable to population and practice area, along with evidence based clinical practice guidelines. Examples of unacceptable references are Wikipedia, UpToDate, Epocrates, Medscape, WebMD, hospital organizations, insurance recommendations, & secondary clinical databases.
No title page needed.
Review the ecomaps and genograms in chapter 12, 13, 14, and 15.
Create an ecomap and genogram similar to that based on a family you interview.
Create a legend consisting of genogram and ecomap symbols as shown in your text book.
Write an analysis of the family relationship based on the concepts from your text and outside resources.
The ecomap/genogram and the analysis with references MUST be in one document. After creating the ecomap/genogram on word, move cursor below it and
type the analysis. Include reference page below analysis.
Click here to download a sample ecomap and genogram with analysis. It is called Ecomap Genogram Relationship Assignment.
