Marketing Strategy assignment – beverages
You need to do some secondary research and certainly lots of primary research to see what water-based beverages are to be found in stores, at least in the metro DC area. The summary at the start of the paper is just that–a summary of what the team has found, the categories, the types of beverages, and probably a summary of the sizes, the prices, the types, etc. Then your team can provide lists, etc of the findings. The secondary research is probably most from trade-related materials, probably online versions, but all secondary material needs to be cited, including sources, authors, etc. and definitely should have all online addresses or URL sources where this info is to be found. Academic journals will probably not be among the key sources here, and much of the online info may not be seen as totally credible, but it will give the team some starting points and ideas for how many types of water-based beverages might be out there (at least in the DC marketplace). I am sure our “client” will want to take the company’s beverage into national distribution, but for the purposes of our class project, I am fine with students using the metro DC area as a focus. Hope this helps.
Just write about the following two types of beverages:
- Juices
- Teas & Coffees
