For this essay, you will be evaluated on your ability to take a stance on a policy related to international relations and defend it. You will be expected to choose any policy that has an international economy element, state your position on what the government should do (it does not have to be the United States Government), and defend your position. In this, you are expected to also explain why the opposition to your position is wrong and provide logical reasoning for why you are right coupled with support from current events and the class readings (or other readings in the book not talked about in class).
