Political activism of Black Americans against surveillance practices of the state

People have been resisting the state’s surveillance practices for a long time.

A new term called “sousveillance” means “surveillance from below.” This is when people who are surveilled by the state (citizens, people of color, etc.) do the surveilling back.

So for example, people of color may film the police unlawfully shooting black people, such as in the case of Treyvon Martin.

For the final paper, you will basically re-state a lot of what’s in the outline, but expand on it and add more detail.

Most of this detail will be added to the literature review and analysis section.

Please don’t just summarize; make sure that you apply a critical analysis of the literature.

Make sure that these additional sources are peer reviewed journal articles or newspapers ONLY.

Just make sure it doesn’t go below 10 sources.
