Fictional Ethical Scenario (Medical Case Study)

Instructions

Produce a (750 word) case study describing and highlighting an ethical concern. The case study itself will be an act of fictional writing.
consider the various elements of a case study and discuss actively a fictional ethical scenario and the complexities it can present.
The assignment includes two parts:
A. The first part (250 words approximately) will be the actual case study, which includes details regarding the medical indications, the participants and any other salient facts.
This section will require a (bibliography page) including at least (two references) of material used to source facts.

B. The second part of the case (450 words approximately) will be a deliberation on the case highlighting ethical principles, values, and considered obligations for health care.
This section will require a (reference page) in APA format.
At least (two sources) must be used.

Writing Tips – When writing the fictional case study be careful to avoid the “bad doctor” scenario or scenarios that are clearly not legal. Do not write a case study that creates a “bad doctor” for you to judge in your deliberation. Try also to write a case that is realistic as possible (i.e. not like a movie script).
a strong deliberation should have is a consistent analysis that has good supporting examples. Included in this should be a consideration of the facts and relevant values. A definitive conclusion may or may not be reached in your deliberation and you may decide to tackle the issue from one or more perspectives.

I have also uploaded the rubric and few samples, with a pdf on how to write a proper deliberation for the case study
