Child Developmental Disabilities

The incidence of developmental disabilities, particularly of autism has risen in recent years. What
do you attribute these increases to and how does having a child with a developmental disability
affect family functioning? How will your knowledge of child development assist you in
determining proper level of care and resources for children in care?
