Critical Analysis of Drug Poster

1) analyze the symbolic dimensions of your sign-system in as much detail as possible, and 2)
provide a critique of the intended message of your sign system using the ideas we have
developed in class. Some of the things you could consider are the following: What effect or
impression is it trying to create? How does it do this? What are the connotations and metaphors
of your sign system? How are users (i.e. folk devils) constructed? How would you critique the
logic and intended message of your sign system? Make sure to include a copy of your
advertisement with your assignment.
