History of Architecture

The case studies will allow you to delve more deeply into several topics by studying
architects/designers and projects that exemplify the topics we are discussing in class. This deep-
dive case study assignment will enhance your knowledge and criticality on the topics.

Write a 400-500 MINIMUM word essay of analysis along with a 100-word (max) description of the
architect/designer or project. Your analysis should include images and diagrams to support your
assertions.

Input text and images into the provided template as indicated. The template is a Word Doc and
sort of clunky. You may improve the design if you feel compelled and you may do it in InDesign or
some other program.

You will be graded on the following criteria:

• Quality of your insight
• Quality of writing
• Choice of images to illustrate writing
• Adherence to consistent format
• Use of citations
