I have always had interests in hospitality since an early age. Every time my parents would take my siblings and I to a hotel, I would be so excited. I was happy to explore new places even as a teenage and this habit did not stop even as a grown up. If I were to start a business, it would be a a Bed and Breakfast hotel. Probably because I travelled a lot with my parents while young and we spent a lot of time in different hotels. I somehow became fascinated with this idea which explains my interest in the hotelier business. If I were to open a bed and breakfast I would do so in my home state of Texas. The reason being I that is my home state and I would like to have a chance to serve its people under a different capacity. Additionally, I am familiar with its licensure and permit requirements because my mother once owned a business a few wars back. From my own research, I also know that in terms of competition, this state is not much crowded with bed and breakfast. Moreover, the population that is untapped that are in need of accommodation and hotel services. This assertion is informed by the fact that the city is densely populated and the business is not very much crowded compared to other businesses. To start the business would require a customer service team, a location, and maintenance staff, and upkeep. Additionally, an SEO-optimized website that has a booking system will be required that will be used to allocate rooms to clients and check them out. In addition to accommodation services, the bed and breakfast will provide swimming pool facilities, gym, yoga, and conference services. There will be free wi-fi and a complementary drink shall be given to every guest. A marketing team would also be useful in reaching potential customers.
