Brief Description of Defect Mfg. Campaign No. 9LG – Accelerator Pedal. DOM: N/A. Accelerator pedal can get stuck in wide open position when being trapped by unsecured or incompatible driver’s floor mat. This may result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to stop vehicle, which could cause crash, serious injury or death. Correct by modifying or replacing accelerator pedals and by replacing any Toyota all-weather floor mat with newly designed mat. This recall is expansion of recalls 09V-388 and 10V-023.
