This paper is a proposal letter for request funding for the following agency.
Name: “Building Solid Foundations.”
Mission Statement:
Building Solid Foundations is a human service agency that provides low income individuals and
families with either short term or long-term rental subsidies. As the ongoing increase of
homelessness continues to bear a financial burden on the taxpayer with an astronomical number of
low-income individuals and families residing in homeless shelters who cannot afford housing on the
own. Building Solid Foundations will provide intense case management services that will include bu
not limited to financial management and budgeting skills, referrals to job trainings, resume writing
skills and linkage to all eligible community resources to assist with enhancing the foundation to
afford housing independently.
The proposal letter must include;
How much money requesting and the break down of how it will be utilized.
How many staff will be employed, including titles, credentials, and salaries.
Letters of support from related agencies such as Department of Labor, and Coalition for the
Homeless.
