Professional Bio

Sophie Jin is a sophomore at Boston University, majoring in Journalism taking a minor in Public Relations in the College of Communication. She is looking forward to working in broadcasting field especially journalism. Jin was an Assistant Producer at Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation in Korea. She is closely linked to a number of successful shows that aired at the time she worked there. She worked with the production team as an editor, a script writer, props manager, and prepared key components before filming of a daily basis.

Currently, Jin works at the Boston University’s student radio station, WTBU News, as an Assistant Director. She also holds other positions as an anchor for BUTV 10, the Wire, and deals with journalism writing for the BUZZ. Some of her key areas include community health problems, engineerings, and public service.

Jin has a strong passion for broadcasting journalism. She fluently speaks Korean and English, and she can also expertly use Adobe products to support key requirements in her job.
