Individual Report (2,500 words)
Preliminaries
Your work on assignment 1 should be considered the basis for this report, since it should have
provided you with theoretical and practical insights about the selected social issue.
During the second phase of the module, you will be presented with concrete methods and tools,
some of which you will be using in practice during seminar work. You are expected to develop a
good understanding of these methods and tools, in order to design a comprehensive
entrepreneurial response to your chosen social issue.
Group work during seminars will provide you with a good opportunity for a hands-on
understanding of methods and tools. However, as with assignment 1, this report is strictly individual; regardless if you share all or some of the insights that emerged within your team
during seminars, this report must show your own views.
Objective
This report should reflect your ability to apply concepts, tools and methods to conceptualise a
value proposition to address the same social issue that you have been working on since the start
of the module.
Regarding structure
• You need to present your arguments in a coherent, consistent, and compelling way.
• You must include an executive summary (200 words).
• Use headings.
• Include appropriate figures, tables, and/or appendices (which should be referred to in the text!).
Remember, these need to serve a clear purpose in your report.
• Please note: this report is not necessarily a business plan, so it is up to you whether you follow
the structure of a business plan.
• The report needs to start with an introduction section and finish with a conclusion section. For
the main body, you can decide the best way to structure your points, using headings of your
choice. Please note: The report does not need to be structured according to the marking criteria
displayed in table 5!
