-Begin your research by conducting a search for social welfare policies that affect social workers in their practice. Do not forget that your role in conducting this study and writing in this paper is finding both the positive and negative aspects of your policy.
-For this assignment, you will write a five-page paper in APA format. The objective of the paper is to conduct a literature review and find out “everything” about the policy you have chosen.
Introduction:
You should include three sub-headings in this section. Significance of Study, Problem Statement, Implications for Social Work Practice
• Significance of Study: This is the section you need to convince your audience why your study/paper is important. Briefly explain your study, the target population are you looking to aid and discuss why is it important to talk about the policies of your target population.
• Problem Statement: In this section, you explain the policy you are researching and discuss the problems you see occurring with this policy. Discuss how it negatively affects your target population. Include statistics about the problem and explain why it is important to discuss research/investigate this policy in context to the problem and your target population.
• Implications for Social Work Practice: Explain how this study/paper will help practitioners in the field of social work.
Background:
• In this section, you need to include content on the history of your policy as well as include what is the status of your policy today. Report all aspects of the policy good and bad. Include citations from scholars who talk about the policy.
