Admission Essay. Personal Statement for College

A personal statement is required to be considered for admission. If you have an essay prepared,
submit it now with your application. If you would like to have your essay added to your
application file at a later time, you can submit your application now without it.
RUSM will accept your AMCAS essay as your personal statement.

If you do not have an AMCAS essay, in 500-800 words , state why you want to become a physician and what you can bring
to the world of medical health in today’s multicultural society. If you are applying as a transfer
student, please also state why you wish to transfer from your present institution and more
specifically, why you wish to transfer to Ross University School of Medicine. Course credits are
not guaranteed to transfer to other schools. Acceptance of credits is subject to the receiving
institution’s requirements.
