Evidence of the connection: Insert injustice and medical condition from the research question In this section you will use evidence to illustrate that the injustice increases the risk for your medical condition. One of the best ways to do this is first find statistics related to your injustice to show that it is a problem. Then you should find a study that links the injustice to the medical condition. You want the study to be original research which means that researchers conducted an experiment and reported their findings. This is different than a review which is a summary of the current information on the topic. Reviews can be helpful though in backing up claims and conclusions that you make on your topic. The writing style is formal and must have fluidity. You need a strong introductory sentence that describes what the section will be about but without vague/weak language and is not painted with too broad a brush. You also need transition sentences and summary sentences. Use credible sources in this part because you cannot make up information. The citations will go after the last sentence with information from that source. Each paragraph must have at least ONE in text citation otherwise this is plagiarism. You should have several paragraphs to ensure organization of content and to help your reader follow your logic. You also need to write formally, meaning NO PERSONAL PRONOUNS (we, our, my or you). This is no place for personal opinions either so the word should cannot be used. Look at my full list of words and phases in my Writing Style handout that make your writing juvenile (get/ing, a lot, huge, big, “when it comes to” to name a few). If you use them I will know you did not look at the videos and are not participating in class. NO QUOATATIONS either. Information needs to be paraphrased and cited correctly in your own words. This is also a form of plagiarism. Look at my example about the decline in bee populations and the peer review rubric for guidance. They are both posted in the announcements. The last sentence in this section should include the three body systems/diagnosis that will be discussed as a transition to the next part of the paper.Body System One: Insert a diagnosis caused by or body system affected by medical condition in research question In this section you will discuss the a medical condition or body system that is affected by your injustice and falls under the medical condition used in your research question. For example, in my paper my medical condition in my research question is chronic disease and in this part of the paper I have one section each for cardiovascular disease, diabetes and stroke. All of which are chronic diseases. You will need to create the same uniformity and cohesion for your paper. Begin this section my defining the medical condition and including rates using statistics (probably from the CDC). After that you will want to include a research study that links this specific body system/diagnosis to your injustice. This may have been one of your articles in assignment 2 and can be copy pasted into this section. For my paper is was how plants that require pollination to produce fruits and veggies help to decrease risk for CVD, DM and stroke. Each diagnosis/body system has its own section and its own study to support the connection. You want to make sure your study used subjects that are members of the population you chose to include as well. All of the writing style and citation formatting is the same as the above section and throughout the paper. Please review to ensure strong academic composition. Body System Two: Insert a diagnosis caused by or body system affected by medical condition in research question In this section you will discuss the a medical condition or body system that is affected by your injustice and falls under the medical condition used in your research question. Last sentences need to be a good transition into the next section. You are not writing several separate papers. This is one paper and must show cohesion.Economic Burden: Insert the economic burdens you will discuss
Insert first burden
In this section you will discuss the economic burden of the topic listed above. You need to use monetary values to illustrate the impact it will have on the economy and how it impacts your specific population. Finding studies for this section is useful in making your point as well but not required. All assignments must discuss at a minimum the healthcare cost but there maybe other economic burdens that have resulted because of injustice. For example, the death of the bees will result in lost revenue in the agricultural sector as well and I had to discuss that. If you do have more than one, then you will need to make another subtitle as the one before and it will need to be included in the title in bold as well. Look at my example for correct formatting. All of the writing style and citation formatting is the same as the above section and throughout the paper. Please review to ensure strong academic composition. Last sentences need to be a good transition into the next section. You are not writing several separate papers. This is one paper and must show cohesion References

Abstract
Neonatal intensive care is an area of interest, especially for neonatal occupational therapists. Provision of results-oriented care in the neonatal intensive care units is necessary for saving the lives of preterm infants, low-birth weight infants and neonates with special medical conditions. The current research analyzed the available literature using selected search words as relates to the topic. A minimum of four academic sources were used. A bias on the role of occupational therapists in the neonatal intensive care unit was applied. The study established that neonatal intensive care is very vital in sustaining the lives of neonates born with defects, those born before maturity, and those born with low birth weights. It also established that occupational therapists are among the members of the neonatal multidisciplinary team that play a very vital role in the delivery of care. Continued support for the intensive care units is necessary for survival of neonates with special needs.
Neonatal intensive care refers to unique care given to newborns who require special attention, or special needs. Mostly, the neonates who require special needs are born prematurely (Boxwell, 2010). Their physiology has not developed to make adjustments to enable them survive in the environment outside the mother’s womb. Prenatal guidance and therapeutic interventions aimed at the development of the premature infant are initiated in the intensive care unit by the care providers. Occupational therapy intervention is necessary for the neonatal intensive care unit to help decrease the stresses that the premature infant undergoes. In the intensive care unit, occupational therapists provide care to the neonate by enabling its vitality, physiological stability and the ability to cope with the human and physical environment. My area of interest is neonatal intensive care as I recognize the role occupational therapist play in the delivery of neonatal care.
Both neonatal, maternal and delivery factors are responsible for admission of a baby to the intensive care unit for unique neonatal intensive care. According to Boxwell (2010), most babies admitted to the unit are of low birth weights, are born premature, or suffer from a medical condition requiring special care. An example of such a condition is jaundice. Some of these conditions result from sexually transmitted diseases of the mother, bleeding, drug abuse, diabetes, too little amniotic fluid or young mothers of below 16 years (Kenner & Lott, 2013). Abnormal delivery, like meconium babies and fatally distress, may also require that a baby is admitted for neonatal intensive care. In addition, the baby may have developed seizures, has birth defects, is born prematurely or may be unable to breath.
For effective delivery of the neonatal intensive care, the units are equipped with sophisticated, technologically advanced facilities. Trained healthcare personnel are employed in the neonatal intensive care, with the skills of handling the tiniest of the patients, and to operate the sophisticated equipment. According to Kenner and Lott (2013), the advanced technological materials are in high demand in the intensive care units, since they are needed to support the respiratory system. Kenner and Lott posit that most of the premature infants suffer respiratory problems, which needs to be supported using the equipment of the latest technology. In the same line, the services of an occupational therapist are in great demand. Guthrie (1988) argues that, the occupational therapists in the neonatal intensive care unit serve to modify and adapt the stimuli to provide an appropriate environment for development, equilibrate the sleep-wake cycles and stimulate sensory modulation. The advanced equipment are very vital for these functions.
Various health professionals are employed in the neonatal intensive care units to provide neonatal intensive care. Among them are neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists, dieticians, pharmacists and occupational therapists. The occupational therapists play a vital role in the delivery of neonatal intensive care. They provide treatment in feeding and eating, facilitating the development of swallowing and sucking skills for the child (Boxwell, 2010). In addition, the occupational therapists also help to maintain the adaptive positions that encourage development and support the child. They achieve this by using sophisticated assistive devices and changing the methods of handling the neonates. Rose (2002) observes that the neonatal intensive care staff also play a big role in training and guiding parents on how to care for the neonates. In the process of care, the neonatal health workers, inclusive of neonatal occupational therapists determine the outcomes of care for the neonates.
A comprehensive, therapeutic professional intervention programme is needed for results to be achieved in the neonatal intensive care unit. Once a neonate is admitted in the neonatal intensive care unit, an initial comprehensive assessment is carried out to determine the unique needs of the neonate (Kenner & Lott, 2013). An intervention drawn is then drawn factoring the individual needs of the infant. The parents of the infants are then guided as per the specific needs of their babies. Such guidance enables the parents to participate in the care of the neonates. The treatment, as per the plan, is continued, and monitoring implemented to ensure the needs of the neonate are met. Consistency in following the plan of care ensures that the desired results of the care are achieved.
In sum, neonatal intensive care is very vital for the infants with special needs. The neonatal intensive care units are equipped with sophisticated facilities to aid in the delivery of services for the needy infants. Qualified healthcare professionals deliver high-level services through a drawn out plan of care to ensure that the desired outcomes are achieved. The occupational therapists are among the professionals of the neonatal intensive care multidisciplinary team that play a vital role in the provision of the unique services to the preterm babies.

Negative Impacts of Cell phones
Negative Impacts of Cell phones

The circulation of cell phones in the world has highly increased due to the high production of the gadgets. These cell phones improve and enrich the lives of people since they enhance faster communication from one point to another. The technology of cell phones has reduced the rate of travelling of the consumers hence saving time. However, several shortcomings have been recognized from the implementation of the cell phones. The cell phones have various negative impacts on the consumers that affect them in their day to day lives. Research has shown that the use of the cell phones also known as mobile phones have various effects on our lives. The effects can be health problems, social problems, and also can have a negative effect on the education. In the essay, various negative impacts that the mobile phones have on the lives of individuals will be discussed.
The mobile phones cause the consumer irritation, ambiguity, and anxiety which can have a negative impact on their health conditions. Irritation comes in when the consumers expect and want to be available every time someone wants to communicate to them (Moisio, 2003). One person wants to be always available on one side and the other one still wants the same thing on the other side. When the two conditions clash, then there will be irritation that is caused in one of them or both of them. For example in a meeting or a place where silence is necessary and people are required to switch off their phones. Everybody else does so but at the middle of the meeting a mobile phone rings and it is owned by one of the people in the meeting. This causes so much irritation to the other members attending the meeting since it’s usually an interruption (Moisio, 2003).
Anxiety is another thing that is caused by the wide- spread use of these cell phones. Consumers are faced with a lot of tiring, continuous and uncomfortable situation and need in order to reach someone through the cell phones or also to be reached. Sometimes the consumer is very much in need of reaching another consumer but the network to connect is very poor at the moment. The consumer become so anxious of when the network would be okay, and it may cause the consumer some unexpected heart diseases (Moisio, 2003).The problem of struggling to keep the battery always charged also causes anxiety to the consumer. This is when the consumer starts asking him or herself questions of how long the battery would stay on before it dies. The consumer also ought to think of what would happen if the battery ran down and they don’t have the charger with them. According to Moisio (2003), the worries about the conditions of the mobile phones, and the dangers that may get the mobile phones in their daily consumption tend to have consequences to the consumer.
There is the anxiety that comes when someone leaves the mobile phone behind. The anxiety appears when the consumer thinks that someone could be calling the line but he or she is not there to pick the call. After the consumer is close to the phone, no one calls. Occasionally, the consumer becomes so nervous with the fear of being left out of contacts and being abandoned by friends in the social life. A person also becomes anxious when another colleague promises to call at a particular time and he or she does not. The person might have forgotten or something gone wrong somewhere leaving the one expecting the call very anxious and always checking on the mobile phone (Moisio, 2003). Anxiety also arises when someone special is called and doesn’t pick the call or he or she is offline. For example in the case of a wife calling the husband and the husband does not pick up the call.
Consumers of the mobile phones, sometimes they get involved in using them that they become addicted. According to Hawkins (2014), mobile phones are addictive and there are five side effects that can be caused by the addiction. The first side effect is that the fingers cramp together and sores develops on the muscles of the fingers due to the continuous scrolling, writing messages, and also playing games on the gadgets. The fingers also become numb in rings and bend the elbow for long periods. The second side effect is where the neck bends due to staring at the phone for long. The staring at the mobile phone also causes the back muscles to get hurt and start aching. Eye strain is the third side effect that is caused by mobile phones addiction. Dizziness, blurred vision and eyes that are dry are other side effects that go hand in hand with the eyestrain. It occurs as a result of the consumer struggling on daily basis to read the tiny text messages and tweets on their mobile phones (Hawkins, 2014).
Addiction of mobile phones causes the consumer a fourth side effect, which occurs as a form of a phobia. A time comes when the consumer starts having the fear of being without a mobile phone. It becomes a problem to the consumer even when the mobile phone gets lost. The phobia causes anxiety or negative physical effects since one cannot use a mobile phone. The consumer keeps checking if the mobile phone is still there from time to time (Hawkins, 2014).The fifth and the final side effect is that the consumers acquire a certain syndrome. They are always expecting that their phones will vibrate in their pockets. These consumers are usually very dependent on text messages and updates from the social media sites (Aaron, 2014).
The use of mobile phones can also harm the consumer physically. According to Burrell (2010), a German study has linked the use of mobile phones to the cause and effect of the cancer of the eye. The radiation from the mobile phones also leads to the formation of cataracts inside the eye. Burning eyes, aching of the eye from behind and a deterioration of the eyesight are all related to the radiations that the mobile phones emit (Burrell, 2010).On the issue of physical impacts, research has shown that most of the mental case that occur are due to stress. The stress is usually caused by the use of mobile phones. The consumers stay for many sleepless nights trying to solve the issues that stress them through the phones and instead they pile up more stress. This can play a very big role in their mental conditions (Thomee et al, 2011).
Mobile phones have caused a lot of problems in the society. Mobile phones have encouraged people in the society to cheat on their loved ones. The main causes of break-ups in relationships and divorce in marriages has been proved to be these mobile phones (Roden, 2013).Cell phones provide more privacy than the computers hence people think that they can do anything with the privacy and go without being noticed. Cell phones are in fact destroying the communication between people instead of making it better. The lack of face to face interaction is what encourages dishonesty between friends and cheating among couples. These ruins the lives of the people in the society (Roden, 2013).People are even losing their lives in accidents because the drivers of the vehicles drive as they stare at their mobile phone drawing all the attention from what they are supposed to do.
Cell phones have also gone ahead to impact a negative impact on education. Currently, a large proportion of those that own mobile phones are under age (below 18 years). These under age consumers are students attending various school. Rules restricting the students from carrying the mobile phones in classes or even to school have been laid down. The reason being, the students concentrate much on sending text messages to each other rather than concentrate on their studies. The performance of many students has been affected beyond unexpected margins because of this behavior.
Cheating in schools during exams has also increased tremendously as a result of the knowledge of using the mobile phones. Students carry the mobile phones in the exam rooms and text each other as the exam continues (Miners, 2009). To the students, it is a way of helping each other but according to the examination rules it is usually an exam irregularity. Another form of cheating using the mobile phones is when the student looks for information from the internet. There are websites in the internet that provide various educational materials and they are very readily accessed by the students. The students also save information in their mobile phones and look at it during the examination.
In conclusion, the technological development that brought forth cell phones was meant to improve the lives of the people. On the contrary, we have seen many negative impacts on the human life that have put the lives of people in great danger. The mobile phones cause different forms of harm to the human body, mind and the relationships that keep them going in life.
