Abstract
This paper seeks to give an analysis on the intense media coverage of famous people and its negative aspects. This has been taking place for many decades and it is not a new phenomenon. Famous people receive a lot of attention from the public. Most times, the media invades their privacy and the consequences are disastrous. Sometimes the media is biased towards them and makes assumptions about them. The media should ensure that it limits the manner, which it treats famous people (Teeter & Loving, 2001).
The media should treat famous people in a fair manner
The success, which celebrities have, affects their privacy in many ways. There are various channels of the media through, which people obtain information regarding celebrities. They include; magazines, television, newspaper, gossip, among others. The media makes it its responsibility to ensure the world is aware about the lives of celebrities. This is done in a merciless way, as the media earns it money from such information. Paparazzi follow the celebrities everywhere they go and this invades the privacy of the people they are stalking. Celebrities are trying to negotiate with the government to have polices, which always ensures the media stays away from them (Teeter & Loving, 2001). They want to have the same respect and privacy, which ordinary people have and enjoy. This is the reason why I believe it is necessary that privacy should be given to celebrities and famous people.
Famous people make it their mission to ensure that people are entertained, through the many interesting things, which they do. Famous people include; musicians, actors, sports women and men, among others. People’s privacy should not be interfered with by the media. Celebrities are also human beings and are hurt when their personal affairs are published, or shown to the public. Their friends and family are also affected by this sort of behavior by the media. In recent news, concerning a famous person, photos of Wang Yi-ren an anchor, were shown by the media to the public. They showed Wang outside her house having a bath. Furthermore, it is usual to see photos of famous people doing their private business, being shown by the media (Jessie, 2011).
As a result of the media being extremely involved in matters concerning famous people, evil things are occurring. In order to get rid of the feelings of uneasiness and intrusion, some of them form dangerous and harmful behaviors. Addiction to alcohol and drugs is common among many famous people (Lemberg, 2004). Some are in rehabilitation centers, while others have lost their lives. Recently a famous singer Amy Winehouse lost her life as result of taking drugs and blame is also being placed on the media. The media is only interested in making sales at the expense of the lives of famous people being destroyed.
Conclusion
In conclusion, famous people should have their privacy maintained .The media should not be excessively concerned with the affairs of famous people. This is because the latter, deserves to live as peaceful as other people. Since people are entertained and made happy by famous people, they should in turn respect them. Being famous does not mean the end of freedom, but instead the beginning of a happy life. The media should focus their attention on matters, which are beneficial, such as how to solve famine in Africa, how to capture terrorists, among others. The media should give them the privacy, which they deserve. Famous people should not suffer as a result of the media invading their privacy.

Abstract
This paper seeks to give an analysis on the importance of fine art. Art can occur in different forms such as art pieces, drama presentations, as well as through works of literature. In turn, students are impacted, in that they learn to appreciate art and their intellectual development improves. This means that a lot should be done to ensure that students are engaged in art activities. Art should be in schools, at home, as well as other places, where students frequent as its benefits are needed. Students are thus able to develop their awareness on culture, increase their self-esteem, and acquire skills needed for critical thinking (Cornett, 2003).
Analysis of the impact of fine art on the intellectual development of students
In elementary school, is when students first have the opportunity of knowing what fine arts entails, and this also occurs when they are at home. Most times, the fine art takes the form of acting in plays, among others. Students’ academic achievement, development as well as motivation are influenced by the fine arts according to research. This means that there is a connection between the mind and art (Cornett, 2003). Most students involved in fine art have benefited from being aspired, acquiring skills and knowledge, which in turn have led to motivation and personal fulfillment. Human beings are distinguished by their achievement and imagination, which is brought about by art.
Most students stop continuing with their schooling as they believe that the system of education does not benefit them. Studies have found out that students who undertake art courses are motivated to continue with their education. This is because through art, many experiences are created and in turn, develops the students in many ways. In order to understand the benefits of fine art, Lowenfield came up with a theory based on constructs, which are psychoanalytical. In order for children to develop mentally and in a healthy manner, they should be introduced to art early enough in life. Mental disturbances and self-confidence deterioration occurs when the creativity of students is prohibited. Art ensures that students become creative and this plays a great role in their lives. Even Albert Einstein believed that knowledge is not as essential as imagination. Through art, students become imaginative (Ables & Hrowitz, 2000).
Students are able to relate to different scenarios when they engage in reading works of literature. This in turn makes them develop skills for critical thinking, become aware about different cultures, and even reason well. The students acquire the knowledge of many authors, who are known for their great literature works. By engaging in drama, they acquire essential skills needed for reading (Ables & Hrowitz, 2000. When students act in plays, they are able to know how to relate with others, self-esteem is built and also they acquire memorization skills. The students become aware of people’s cultures and how they can relate to different people. By creating art pieces, students develop their reasoning as well as enhance the coordination of their hands and eyes. For example, students who create sculptures, improve their senses such as sight and touch. Thus, all the different types of art should be encouraged among students (Dahlman, 2007).
Conclusion
In conclusion, art is extremely beneficial and a lot should be done to ensure that students are engaged in it. Intellectual development in developed by the different forms of art. In turn, the student improves greatly in all sectors of their lives and thus become successful.

Abstract
This paper seeks to give an analysis on the ethical issues, involved in matters related to research. The chosen participants for the experiment are elderly people, who are at risk of suffering from dementia. The benefit and risk ratio should be addressed to the elderly participants before they make any decisions. Also, the impact this issue on research, which is psychological, ought to be known. The elderly are a venerable group whose rights should not be violated, when being used as subjects in research (Israel & Hay, 2006).
The Elderly for Clinical Research Studies of Dementia
There are many definitions, which have been used to describe ethics. It is often associated with morality whereby, people seek to know wrong from right. It is then possible to define ethics as behavior, which is dictated by norms of conduct. There are various places whereby, ethics can be learnt such as in school, at home, among other places where people interact. Childhood is the phase in life whereby, people develop a sense of their morality. This is because they are developing mentally and this will continue until they become adults. There are various codes, which govern the manner in which psychologists carry out their work. They include; Integrity, honesty, objectivity, carefulness, openness, confidentiality, among others (Israel & Hay, 2006).
In any research undertaking, ethics should be a guiding principle especially if human beings are the ones being researched upon. This means that the risks should be predicted through conducting an assessment carefully. Also, the benefits should be anticipated as compared to the burdens, which occur, as a result of the research being conducted. Most times, clinical trials are conducted during the research and this might have adverse effects on the human beings, who are to be experimented (Israel & Hay, 2006). These are often referred to as components, which are therapeutic. Other times, components, which are non-therapeutic, are used and this ensures that research questions are answered.
It is through hypothesis, which is null, that the question on research is answered. The reason is that the measured outcomes are in line with the arms found out during the trial. The procedures used may be in the form of procedures that use prognostic testing .Others are in the form of non-invasive or invasive procedures, which are diagnostic. Risks should be minimized while at the same time, benefits should be maximized. This is as a result of the protocol used during the research (Getz & Borfitz, 2002).
It has been found out through numerous studies that by the year 2030, the number of elderly people in the United States will be 70 million. This is due to the advancement made in the medical fields, which have in turn promoted the lives of many people. In turn, many elderly people are being used as subjects in many experiments, especially those concerned with dementia. There is a need to found out the issues involved in aging such as conditions, diseases, among others. For many years, the principles of ethics have played a great role in ensuring that participation of people in research is regulated. Those with dementia are regarded as coming from a group, which is vulnerable (National Bioethics Advisory Council, 2001).
The consent of the elderly persons should be given when they are being used as research subjects. This is in accordance to the protocol followed during research, as it ensures that the elderly are not mistreated. Dr. Beecher Henry found out that many subjects for dementia research were mistreated and this was in the year 1966. He accused the researchers of not following the protocols of research. According to him, this was a violation of the ethics upheld in this profession. In another incident, it was found out that cancer cells were being injected into elderly patients, who have dementia. This is an ethical violation, since the patients did not give their consent. If consent was given by the patients, then this would not have been a case of patient abuse (Getz & Borfitz, 2002).
Voluntary decisions should be made by the elderly people, so that they are aware of the risks as well as the benefits involved in the research. Most elderly people tend to believe that since they are going to be involved in research, they will benefit greatly. They believe that the benefits involved are of a therapeutic nature. All information should be disclosed regardless of whether the research is beneficial or not. In investigating the different stages of dementia, it is possible to come up with sufficient treatment for dementia. During participation, it is often possible that the participants will not benefit directly (Getz & Borfitz, 2002).
Often, it becomes extremely difficult for the elderly due to their mental and physical impairments, to know how the research protocols are. Due to the nature of dementia it is often difficult for the elderly to provide consent for research. This in turn creates problems during research activities. The elderly people might not have the capability of making decisions, which are rational. There are other barriers, which exist during the psychological research protocol. The risk of the elderly suffering from coercion is great and this is because they are constantly being pressured. The pressure may come from the elderly person’s family, friends and even the researchers themselves (National Bioethics Advisory Council, 2001). Most times, not all the volunteers in the research agreed out of their own consent. It is often easy to manipulate people who are aging, due to their state of mind. Other elderly people may want to agree as they are in a state of desperation. This is because there is no other treatment, which has proven to cure dementia. All researchers must be aware that it is unethical to lure participants by providing false information.
Morality and scientific justifications are raised when it comes to matters concerning the elderly, as well the diseases, which affects them. This means that they should be included in all protocols of research. Assumptions should not be made as the elderly people are human beings, who have the right to make decisions, which are informed. People who predisposed to harm or danger are known as being vulnerable such as elderly people. There are many practices, which are involved in clinical research. Effective policies should be set up to ensure that they elderly are not taken advantage of when they are being used for research. Thus, it is beneficial that a surrogate be involved in this matter, so that they can make decisions regarding the research issues (National Bioethics Advisory Council, 2001).
Conclusion
In conclusion, it is important that during research, all norms of ethics are adhered to. Elderly people should be provided with all the needed information, before they are able to make decisions. Also, during the research they should not be harmed, but instead benefit.
