Significance of Embracing History

History embracement is essential to the people of America and has been emphasized by many in the nation. The journey of civilization and independence was a struggle, and it is virtuous to keep a commemoration symbol of the legends who were substantially involved in the civil war. The Lost cause is among the most influential intellectual movements that were focused on reuniting traditional Southern white people to the conquest of the Confederate States of America during the Civil War. The United Daughters of the Confederacy are well known for their commitment to defending and preserving the memory of the Confederate soldiers and the impact they facilitated to the society (Curtis, (2002). The union also played a significant role in writing the Civil War history and naming it the Lost Clause. In this paper, ways of teaching the next generation about the Civil War, Issues concerning the erection of Confederate symbols, matters regarding renaming public schools and the interpretation of the civil war are well elaborated.

Embracing history extremely depends on the personal interpretation and believes of the causes of the Civil War and how it should be remembered by the people. Therefore, there is the urge of the coming generations about the Civil War and precisely make them aware of the struggle that the ancestors underwent through in bringing up independence. As the United Daughters of the Confederacy emphasized, the history of the civil war should be introduced to the education system, and the students are taught as any other relevant discipline. The lost Cause should be taught in schools as it the best way to make the next generation about the nation’s history (Cook, 2017). The founders of the movement tend to portray the causes union as honorable and it leaders as conquerors not defeated because the superiority of military skills but for the reason that the antagonists had devastating power.

The Confederates are being removed from standing places as there are claims that nothing in history that supports the fact that the African Americans fought for the Confederacy. The act of doing away with Confederate symbols is not patriotic as the act as a representation and remembrance of the soldiers who fought for the liberation. Therefore, they should remain standing in place as they are also significant elements of teaching the next generation the history of the country (Censer, 2016).

There have been claims about renaming the public schools which have been supported by some members of the public. It is true that there can be a handful reason behind the urge and why they are behind it but there is a high point of contradiction regarding the sovereignty and history of the nation. A good example for this instance is the issue regarding the renaming of the Robert E. Lee High School which was named after the Confederate Robert E. Lee. For the mentioned above reason involving preservation of the country’s national and embracing the Confederacy legends, one would not support the fact about renaming the Robert E. Lee High School.

In dealing with the interpretation of the Civil, War people have first to understand the history behind its significant causes and other essential factors that facilitated its commencement. The primary cause of the Civil War was slavery which was against the states’ rights among other factors such as succession and the bleeding of Kansas. There is no will of protesting the nation’s history as these are the facts that facilitated to the attainment of independence and shaping the federal government.

As discussed above, it is recommended that every person take it with passion and help the coming generations to learn about the nations and Confederates. By giving chauvinistic movements such as the United Daughters of the Confederacy is vital in embracing the sovereignty of the country.

Alexander Bielakowski’s “Eisenhower: The First Nato Saceur” War and Society” explores the war between North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the Soviet Union. It explores the mutual defense pact between the two parties on ending the war and hostilities among nations involved in the conflict. Bielakowski explorers which the goals and objectives of the mutual respect pact between Europeans and North Americans. It revolves around events that took place in the 1950s (Bielakowski, 2004). The pact between the parties lasted over seventeen months. The text explores the events that took place between these period. Some of the objectives and goals that the author intended to achieve include to discourage rearmament and encourage peace among parties. Using evidence from the pact signed between Europeans and North Americans, the author emphasizes on the importance of treaties and the role they play in peaceful co-existence among nations.

Bielakowski uses historical evidence to support his argument in the text. One of the merits of the argument he presents in the article is that the author uses facts and evidence from history hence making his argument credible. One of the references that the author keeps on referring to in the text is Eisenshower. He was the first Saceur to be appointed to oversee the signing of the treaty and mutual-respect pact between European and American nations. Bielakwoski describes him as the only person who possessed international military qualifications to mediate between the parties (Bielakowski, 2004). According to the author, efforts to disarm countries needs to be headed by a person with significant experience. Besides, the author points out the need for countries to strictly conform to disarmament policies so as to end hostilities and human rights violations across the world. Other than evidence and facts from the mutual respect pact, the author also uses characters such as Eisenshower to support his position.

Moreover, one of the other merits of the source is that it uses history to justify current and future events. Bielakwoski is against the use of weapons of mass destruction during war as it leads to loss of innocent lives. He supports countries solving their disputes and conflicts amicably through mediation and signing of peace treaties and pacts. Using evidence from treaties and pacts signed by Europeans and American nations, the author sustains his argument on the importance of treaties and pacts in ensuring peaceful co-existence among warring parties.

Bielakowski believes that the best ways to defend a country is through a mutual defense pact and not use of force and military personnel to guard borders and participate in wars to defend their countries. The author gives an example of the North Atlantic Treaty and how the treated led to the easing of tension among nations involved in the conflict. According to the text, the treaty forced the warring parties to recognize the clauses they had signed and forced them to end the hostility and embrace unity (Bielakowski, 2004). Since the countries had signed the agreement, they had no choice but to honor the requirement to disarm that was one of the constituent of the North Atlantic treaty. Using logical evidence such as the reference to the North Atlantic Treaty, the author is successful in sustaining his argument on disarmament and convincing his readers that peace is better than war.

Security Information and Event Management systems also known as SIEM solutions cause more controversy among security teams. They are the basis of all organizations security program although they continue to create more complaints and bring forth considerable solutions to the customers.

Many enterprises consider SIEM that has best scalability, business monitoring ability, easier deployment and ability to integrate with enterprise solutions like identity. SIEM systems detect malware and advanced threats (Lammle, 2015). The golden hour goal is realistic and attainable since the required task is performed on time thus adding value of security, compliance and operations by analyzing vulnerable data evaluation.

Security teams ensure basic measures of security are followed. They also detect DOS application attacks throughout infrastructure data event (Lammle, 2015). This security analysis helps business and risk operation teams in making improved trade decisions by weighing information gathered from SIEM.

The two SIEM tools range from threat detection/Malware and cloud mobile systems. Malware is considered as the major security issue organizations are facing daily. It compels numerous changes flowing through security sectors including security analytics and SIEM (Miller, 2011). Cloud is created to spot security events while malware is created to evade detections and be stealthy.

Cloud and mobile involves transferring data into the cloud and offering mobile applications to customers and employees. The system covers devices and applies cases of the classical firm perimeter altering infrastructure to become monitor (Miller, 2011). One has no full control of his stored data due to cloud rules and also no visibility. Some customers are denied password accessibility because it is a virtual server or the shared one.
