Pearson coefficient shows how variables are related and is a measure of correlation between two given variables. The correlation coefficient is a measure of degree of dependence given a result that is between +1 and -1 where +1 is a positive correlation and -1 is a negative correlation. Example is the Correlation between purchasing in a mall and median income in the region.
Pearson’s correlation, measures how two variables change together, and depends on sample size. Some factors take precedence in such situation, such as season, sample size, type of cloths, and income earned. Let’s take purchasing power to be x and income in the region as y i.e. if r is positive, x will increase and y will also increase and when x decreases ,y will tend to decrease the same way. Positive correlation .When r is negative when y increases x decreases and when y decreases x increases this is negative correlation
Chi square is a test of independency is best used to examine if two variables are associated with each other. This test can be used to test the behavioral situation and get the null hypothesis. Example if a company wants to test if changing product mix would affect profit. Let’s test the correlation of brand preference in shoes and income earned .The best way to test for this statistic is using goodness of fit. (C., 2002)
In such scenarios we can either reject the Null hypothesis or accept the alternative of accept the Null hypothesis and reject the alternative .This is usually indicated if e.g. Z calc>Z critical reject the null hypothesis and accept the alternative (Greenwood, 1996).

PC Procurement for a E-Commerce Company
The aim of this report is to provide a detailed purchase account to the employees of XYZA Inc. within the accounting department. The first section provides a DIY PC option that includes hand picking all components. The second option is using branded option to purchase pre-assembled PCs directly from leading brands. The section also justifies the recommendations made. In the third section, a final recommendation comparing the first and second options.
Section 1: DIY Option
In this section, the recommendation is that the computers be hand picked (meaning individualized components for every computer) in order to get the best features tailored for the needs of the accounting department. The components considered for the DIY option are as follows:
Motherboards
CPUs (Central processing Units)
GPUs (graphics processing units)
RAM (volatile memory)
SSD storage (solid state drive) and hard disk drive (HDD)

Constructing a new personalized computer, as opposed to acquiring a pre-built one, provides an organization with the opportunity to reduce expenses while simultaneously increasing the degree of control they have over the hardware configuration of a workstation. It would not be prudent to purchase all high-end, top-rated equipment in order to have a quick computer for the extremely active and sensitive accounting department of XYZA. To obtain the greatest possible value for our money, I suggest that we first determine the requirements of the division and then make our purchases on the basis of those specifications. It is essential to take into account that the department makes use of sophisticated software in order to execute accounting and auditing procedures. As a result, we will construct a computer (utilizing a variety of components) that is capable of functioning on the Windows 10 platform. We will be utilizing a 64-bit computer CPU. Because the accounting department will simultaneously run a number of applications that are both resource-intensive and demanding, including virtualization and database software, we will go with a CPU that has four cores. In addition, I suggest that we finish the build with the assistance of three-dimensional graphics applications.

From the figure 1 above, the options for the department include an Intel i7 CPU, 16GB memory, 1 tera byte SSD, Intel CPU graphics, and a Windows 64-bit operating system. The internet connection will be configured at <10ms latency and 20 mega bytes upload. The Intel Corei& processor, the BeQuiet! CPU cooler, Asus motherboard, Corsair memory, Intel SSD storage, and AMD video card have all been chosen on the basis of their reliability, comparatively competitive pricing, performance rating, and user reviews from similar purchases and usage. Another criterion applied in the selection is the intended use and suitability to the needs of the accounting department at XYZA firm. Other components such as the Corsair case, the Corsair power supply, the network adapters, monitor, keyboard, and mouse have been selected on their compatibility to the preferred Windows 10 Home OS platform. All of the components chosen have a longer warranty period, and are better in terms of pricing compared to similar products of the same performance and category. However, the keyboard and mouse preferred were based on reliability and compatibility to the available hardware. Figure 2 provides a summary of the parts, prices, and specifications.

Section 2: Branded PC Option
The HP Omen 45L, in contrast to the vast majority of prebuilt desktop computers, features a design that is more akin to a personal computer that has been assembled by the user themselves. Consumers who want to benefit from the benefits of PCs but don’t want the difficulties that come along with them will find the size, amazing performance in every area, and its one-year on-site guarantee to be appealing characteristics of this product. Due to the company’s well-earned reputation for dependability, purchasing a system from HP might provide the user with a measure of mental ease. Its components are readily compatible with other contemporary goods made by other manufacturers, which further contributes to this product’s credibility.
The HP Omen 45L is a dependable personal computer that also has an attractive look. The OMEN 45L has a separate cooling chamber that sits on top of the device. This is one of the most recognizable characteristics of the device, if not the most unusual element overall. It is responsible for housing the AIO radiator and extracting cold air from the exterior of the chassis for the top-mounted exhaust system. This helps explain why the cooling it provides is so effective. Section 3: Final Recommendation
From the breakdown of the DIY and the stock branded HP Omen above, I recommend that we go with the first option to build a computer that is tailored for the needs of the company, including pricing, reliability, use, components, and other qualities relevant to the accounting department. One of the key reasons why the first option is preferred is that the price is friendly compared to what the same components and specifications go for in a branded option. When buying from big retailers like HP, it is true that it is possible to get a PC that is specifically designed to perform for the requirements of the organization. However, it is also true that the components that are in-built are permanent. Along the way, the department might decide to add more components such as memory or faster graphics. This would mean additional costs and possible compatibility issues. the DIY option is better suited for the organization. It not only saves on money but also on usability. The fact that the organization has an entire IT team means that the degree of knowledge about computers is not a hindrance on a self-build. Therefore, the DIY option is highly recommended.
