Introduction

Introduction: Information literacy entails a set of characteristics used to transform ordinary students into lifelong learners and wise information consumers. It is the ability of a person to articulate their information needs and determine if they have been adequately met.

Thesis: This essay highlights the significance of information literacy including promoting problem solving approaches, identifying reliable and high-quality information, and academic-related purposes.

Recommendation: Students must begin developing literary skills early enough as they have proved important in today’s world. Employers nowadays consider information literacy to be important at the workplace. Students should endeavour to demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn continually and develop new skills.
