In order to understand the development psychology of the child, I choose to observe a child who knows things around him and can express himself easily. This led to choosing five years old boy named Jacob. He is from the neighborhood and well knows to me, being my neighbor son. At the young age of five years he is in the preschool stage of development. This is the self-awareness and imagination stage in which a child starts understanding the things around him. at this point the child begins to know what their real identity is. It is also at this phase that they get to understand that their behaviors have consequences and that at the time they will not be positive.
A child at this age would stand out from other kids by the way of observing his characters. For instance, the physical characteristic of this child are1. Has a great appetite and eats more frequently. The energy in his body is usually burnt rapidly making it necessary for the child to eat a lot.2. Due to the many activities during the day, Jacob is usually exhausted and tends to retire early in the evening.3. At this age, Jacob is usually responsible for toileting. At some points, however, it may happen accidentally, especially if the child was busy doing something else.4. At this age, Jacob might still need some assistance in issues such as dressing and trying shoes. Though he has an idea of how it is done, he might not be able to do it perfectly.5. Jacob plays in one position for a good amount of time but keeps changing the positions frequently. They can not sit for a long time at one place.6. Jacob can also be said to have a mature eye-hand relationship, and always gets his hand he what he intended to hold.
The other characters that would make this child stand out from other are the emotional characteristics he poses. For example,
1. Jacob always tends to blame others for his own mistakes. He is not quick to accept that the mistake was his and always lays the blame on others.2. He could also be afraid of the dark. This point shows that Jacob has become aware of the dangers posed by other especially those not friendly.3. In some situations, Jacob can be said to be verbally aggressive. If he has not been accorded enough attention, this child may at times try to get by being verbally aggressive.4. At this age, Jacob will always want the approval and support of others, be it adults or peers.
At the time of observation, Jacob was out playing with other kids. Jacob seems to enjoy playing with other children and want to participate in all activities. At one point, he is seen busy trying to mold something with the soil. He then rushes to show it to his friends, saying it is his dad’s car. Somewhere before he gets to his friends he drops it and then aggressively blames it on one of his peers. After sometime, he moves on as if nothing had happened, not showing any anger even for that child he accused of dropping his creation.
These behaviors can be said to relate well with the characteristics of a child at his age discussed above. For instance, the child can be said to be friendly and corporative by the way he enjoys playing with other kids. He is also seen trying to mold a car from the soil, showing he is attempting to understand the nature and things around him. He then forgets the issues and moves on.

Clarisonic skin brush
While it is debatable if one needs anything more than a simple wash cloth for the face and a cleanser, the idea of an electronic skin brush is the other tool that people can utilize. Skin brushing is a technique meant for the body. Many like skin brushing and there is a variety of skin brushes available in the market. While getting a smooth skin on one’s face may take some effort, maintaining the rest of the skin of the body is easier especially with a tool that brushes the body. Skin brushing is a technique meant for the body. It keeps the skin youthful, clean and glowing. Clarisonic skin brush is a perfect tool used for cleaning and smoothing skin.
How it works
It gently removes dead cells while deep cleansing, making it a preferable product for women who wear makeup. The product removes six times more makeup and two times more oil and dirt than any other cleansing with one’s hands. Exfoliation is sloughing off the skin cells that are dead and encouraging the skin to create new cells. The skin is either brushed when it is wet or dry for exfoliation benefits. Some people say that skin brush during a shower is the best. The brushing of the entire body takes place with avoidance of sensitive areas and open wounds. Some people start from heels and move upwards, and others do it oppositely. The aim is to make circular motions especially in the chest, belly, buttocks, and thighs. Areas such as breasts and decollete areas, which have thinners akin, fail the test. Once the skin is uncovered, use of towel to wipe down the skin again or shower taken. Non-drying lotion accompanies skin brush. The lotion serves to lock the moisture in (Campen, 2010).
The Clarisonic skin cleansing system uses a frequency of more than 300 movements per second to soften, clean, and smooth skin. The inner oscillating brush and the Outer stationary brush work synergistically with skin to create a deep cleansing zone. The inner brush rotates back and forth at a frequency of 300Hz. The area between the inner and the outer brush gently flexes the pores to loosen oil and dirt giving one a cleansing not possible with bare hands.
Process
Switching on Power level selection T-TIMER setting of time Exfoliation Wiping
The device gets powered on by holding down the power button for about three seconds The power level then gets selected. Three ascending audio beeps indicate normal power level while three descending beeps indicate low power level Time is set using the T-TIMER. Manufacturers recommend 20 seconds for very exposed part of the skin The device is then placed on the skin surface where the inner section of the brush oscillates working in conjunction with the outer section to smooth skin Once sloughing of the skin completes, the skin is wiped with a towel or showering done then wiped. Lotion is applied.
System features
Waterproof
The design of the tool makes it waterproof so that it is utilized during shower and sink cleanses.
Charger cradle
The system is in a way that when fully charged, the charge can last for more 30 uses. It offers two power levels: low and normal. The power level is visible and audio. When the Clarisonic switches on at normal power level, there are three ascending beeps and the yellow light illuminates. Low power level has three descending beeps and the yellow light switches off. The device offers options of toggling between settings. The power button is held down for three seconds progressively when turning on the Clarisonic. The change in beeps confirms power levels.
Cleansing timer
Thorough cleansing of the face is also achieved through timing. There is a one minute T-TIMER that beeps and stops momentarily to indicate that it is a time to move to another part of the body. Most users spend the first 20 seconds to brush the forehead, 20 seconds on chin region or nose, and 10 seconds on each cheek. The device has a minute duration by default. The yellow light then flashes and the Clarisonic remember the time left in the T-TIMER.
Sensitive brush head
The brush head is soft and works well with the skin. It does not introduce friction. The head is changeable any time.
Oscillating brush
The two oscillating brushes provide for maximum cleaning using skins flexibility. They offer no friction to the skin. The inner section makes oscillations that circulate back and forth at a frequency of three hundred cycles per second. Consequently, the outer section remains stationary to prevent splashing. The inner movements serve to cleanse and massage the skin to remove impurities and exfoliations on the skin.
Benefits
Dry skin brushing stimulates the lymphatic system, helping the body maintain its health, as well as the skin. It is also another way of removing dry patches on the skin, blemishes or dry skin. This makes the skin younger for longer. It reduces the appearance of pore size and helps skin care products such as lotions work their best. The removal of more dirt and oil by the brush also helps the skin to remain smooth and fresh. The skin care also reduces the appearance of fore lines and wrinkles. It is suitable for use with a non-abrasive cleanser and works for all skin types (Zoltners, Sinha, Lorimer, & Palgrave, 2004).
The future of Clarisonic skin brush
Any time people have acne breakouts, the main factor to carry out is preserve the skin. The skin is cleansed and oil-free. In addition to cure of acne breakouts; blemishes are also things that attract attention of people. Pimples also disturb many people making their face look grim. Clarisonic brush system minimizes pimples and oily pores on the skin. The cure of breakouts involves use of a skin brush followed by application of a lotion that will eliminate future breakouts (Sadick, Marshall, & Dinkes, 2011).
Generally speaking, most teenagers will like have a spike of breakouts due to the various physical transformations that take place at these ages. To remain beautiful and look presentable, teenagers look for ways of ensuring that their skins look smooth and clean. The run up to lotions and other form of makeup do not assure these desires. Some lotions worsen the bad conditions of skins. With the coming of the Clarisonic skin brush many skin problems got solved. This tool is inevitable and has the potential of standing the test of time.

Software Defined Networking
Introduction
Software defined networking can be described as drastic fresh thoughts in networking that guarantees or assures dramatic simplification of network administration and permit innovation throughout network programmability. This paper describes the technical details of software defined networking with respect to what it does, what it improved, how it changes our technology and the future that comes with it (Nunes 2014). The Open Network Foundation defines software defined networking as a network architecture where network control is decoupled from forwarding and is directly programmable (Alaettinoglu 2013).
Technical aspects of Software Defined Networking
The software defined network is a group of northbound application interfaces that permits an application to reprogram the network. The software defined architecture comprises of three main components namely the application, the controller and forwarders. The application component defines bandwidth calendaring, demand placement and service deployment. The controller component defines the service, network and device control while forwarder defines the physical or virtual routers and/or switches. The centralized controller is responsible for the management of many switches. The controller can be decoupled physically from the forwarder. Programmability with no decoupling of controller to the forwarder is regularly known as software derived networking, also called software defined networking. The decoupling of controller from the forwarder might have self-governing advantage. It might make it feasible to set up switches from commercial off the shelf hardware components. Decoupling of forwarder and controller makes the protocols such as OpenFlow Open network Foundation to be utilized amid the controller and the forwarder for the purpose of programming the forwarder. The diagram in figure (A) bellow shows the architecture of software defined networking (Alaettinoglu 2013).
The major component of software defined networking is the controller which offers northbound application interface to the applications. It can make possible programming, reconfiguring and reorganizing of networks on behalf of the applications. The controller can also track all requests for applications, uphold network topology model as well as maintaining loads of traffic, utilizing this to calculate application paths in addition to programming the forwarders. The diagram in figure (B) bellow illustrates the controller component part of software defined networking (Alaettinoglu 2013).
Figure B: The controller Architecture
Figure A: Architecture of Software Defined Networking
The most well known software defined networking application is the network virtualization. Nevertheless, a number of current applications are developed as cloud applications to allow access by users irrespective of their location or device they use. The majority of virtualization applications generates a virtualization network amid virtual switches to link virtual machines. The applications makes Application interface calls to the bandwidth broker with an aim of requesting a given quantity of bandwidth to be assigned to them. This assignment can be done either immediately or at given time in future.. The broker can either accept or deny the request. In the case of acceptance,, the application traffic can be routed on the existing paths or newly established paths. Software defined networking is thus a natural approach to implementing bandwidth calendaring (Alaettinoglu 2013).
What software defined networking does
Software defined networking being a new paradigm in networking advocates the separation of data plane alongside control plane. By so doing, it makes network switches in the data plane to be simple packet forwarding devices. It also uses logically centralized software program to control the activities of the whole network. Software defined networking also permits regular modifications to network situations and state. It offers support for network design by means of high level language in addition to offering visibility. It also offers control over tasks for conducting diagnosis for network with troubleshooting. The technologies used for software defined networking also allows operators of the network to implement extensive range of policies for network in a high level language policy. Moreover, it aids in in easy determination of sources of problems in performance of the network. In the process of improving network management, software defined networking uses network policies that automatically respond to low level events of the network. (Hyojoon, and Feamster 2013).
The Open Flow which is an embodiment of software defined networking embraces the example of extremely programmable switch infrastructure which allows software to calculate the maximum routing flow choice on demand. In the case of current networks which have to deal with virtualization of host and dynamic application migration in an increasing way, OpenFlow might provide the agility required to work with dynamic network orchestration further than that which can be achieved by conventional networks (Shin 2013).
What Software defined networking Improves
Software defined networking improves network management tasks and security of communication network. It also improves the visibility and control over tasks for carrying out network diagnosis. In overall, software defined networking improves network performance, scalability, efficiency and even availability. This implies that reliability of the communication network is improved as well. The improvement in security in this case means that the incidences caused by cyber criminals such as hacking and others are also minimized (Kim 2014, Yeganeh, Amin , and Yashar 2013).
How Software defined networking changes our technology
The fresh virtual machines are added or deleted as the application user base grows or shrinks respectively. The virtual machines are also migrated to better save the user group as the user geography also changes. This virtual machine migration can also help in offering continuity of business during down time caused by rolling black outs or natural disasters. The additions, deletions and migrations of virtual machines can also be carried out by means of programming. Nonetheless, the network requires to be reconfigured to reflect these changes in order to keep the technology current. It is the network virtualization that permits this reconfiguration to be programmed by the virtual machine management system. The reconfiguration must always be normally performed during windows maintenance (Alaettinoglu 2013).
The future that comes with Software defined networking
The future that comes with software defined networking consists of increase in traffic loads which also call for increase in bandwidth and transmission speed. The past traffic volumes can be employed in producing future profiles in traffic. These profiles can determine whether the application should be allowed to run or not. As a result, fresh ideas also continues to emerge that simplifies network management and further innovation through fresh programming. Therefore, the current ideas are used to examine the future implications which are explored through research directions that are based on software defined networking paradigm.
