- You will be focusing on a field trip report and the educational value of this report. Take a look at the sample on page 574 and read the section on Trip/Travel Reports. You will then produce a field trip report. Given that we are facing COVID-19, I am using this moment to explore the work of the Center for Disease Control. Do research on the Center for Disease Control – you could focus on the Center’s museum, as that would work well with this assignment. However, you are free to explore any aspect of the site.
- Pretend that you visited the museum of the Center of Disease Control and you toured it. Write a field trip report about your visit. Use the sample on page 574 as your guide. The report should not be less than 4 pages (not a page and a half) and you will also have visuals in the report. You have to satisfy the page requirements (4 pages), format requirement, placing visuals professionally, in order to begin to score well. Because you are exploring a site, you will have to do a references page. Your references page is in addition to the 4 required pages.
- In grading I take the pages into consideration:
- 1 page – working towards 25%
- 2 pages – working towards 50%
- 3 pages – working towards 75%
- 4 pages – working towards 100%
- At least one visual for every exhibit you visit.
- The visuals must be scaled professional, so they cannot consume the whole page. This means it must not be too large. Each must be properly labeled: Eg. Figure Symphony of Lights
- Do type the report using size 12 Times New Roman. The spacing in the paragraphs should be as I have in my paragraphs in this instruction, that is, single line Type your work in Microsoft Word and upload into the drop box that is provided.
