SPSS Data Analysis Help for You

SPSS (Data Analysis): Students are expected to review, collect, analyze, and present in written format second hand data. The data should be international in nature, e.g., data describing characteristics of countries or consumers in various countries. Review and collect existing data that is available in second hand databases found at the library and on the Internet and develop hypotheses based upon the relationship between different sets of data. Input the data into a SPSS spreadsheet and determine methods to analyze the data for the purpose of accepting or not accepting the posited hypotheses. Finally, present the data explaining why particular variables were chosen, how hypotheses were formulated, what the results indicate, and what the different values on the output (SPSS documents) mean. Check out the following websites for data: www.cia.gov – world factbook; www.nationmaster.com; www.gapminder.org
No more than two pages typed 1.5 spaced (charts/tables/references not included), 1-inch margins (top, bottom, and sides); 12-point Times Roman font. Here are some exciting videos featuring SPSS methods and techniques: www.spssvideotutor.com, http://www.youtube.com/user/bartonpoulson
Employ the following steps: Determine what you wish to analyze, Find the data, Download the data, Clean the data, Analyze the data, Present the information.
Here is a recommended format but feel free to enhance:
