Social Injustices in the United States
Dear Mr. President,
I am writing this letter to you on behalf of my family, friends, and the nation at large to express our concerns as a nation. With 2022 more than halfway over, there are countless challenges that your people are currently facing, and with this trend, for most of us, it feels like there are still more concerns to be experienced in the future if nothing is done. As you read through this letter, I hope you will understand how your people are struggling to make it through during these hard times, and I hope you will do something to alleviate some of the challenges we are facing.
Firstly, the affordability of health care is one of the biggest challenges facing your people. Most US citizens have difficulty affording healthcare costs, and almost 4 in ten adults in the US go without medical care or delay seeking medical care due to increased healthcare costs. Also, it has been difficult for most adults to pay for various healthcare services, especially those not covered by Medicare, such as dental services and the costs of drug prescriptions. Yes, a healthy nation is indeed a wealthy nation. Thus, something needs to be done to improve the health of the nation if you want the nation to revive from the adverse economic impact of COVID-19, which has pushed many people into poverty.
Another pressing issue facing Americans is racial inequality. Up-to-date, there are still obstacles in the way of racial equality for American citizens. Some individuals have to deal with unfair practices that would hinder someone of opposite sex or different race from enjoying equal opportunities at the job, whether when it comes to getting a promotion at work or being underpaid. We see news of police officers shooting black people even though they are not breaking any laws. Racial inequality is also being experienced in schools and healthcare organizations. If the issue of racial inequality is not addressed, the nation will continue facing the income gap between Whites and people of color, and the situation will be the same as it has been since the 1970s.
Furthermore, climate change in America is worsening every day, destroying many living things, including humans. Your people are facing greater challenges in terms of extreme health effects, water security, and food security. The US’s leading cause of climate change is the burning of fossil fuels. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has reported that human activities release more than 30 billion tons of carbon dioxide annually. I believe this needs to be regulated to minimize the severe impacts of climate change. People most affected by climate change include the poor, children, older adults, and people with a history of mental health issues. If greenhouse gas emissions are not cut, oceans will shift tremendously, the ice will melt, producing floods, and the weather will alter, inflicting irreparable harm.
Another social issue facing your people include health disparity. While social healthcare facilities are said to be adequate for everyone, how services are provided to citizens still concerns me. Comparing the budget set aside by State leaders on healthcare, the figures show that the Us spends more than any other Nation on matters related to health. However, an increase in expenditure has not translated to higher life expectancy for Americans. Although I cannot cover all the social issues facing your people, I hope you now understand how your people are struggling. If you want your people to have a prosperous future on earth, these are important problems that must be handled. I believe your leadership will find ways to improve the lives of the people who elected you to serve them and improve their lives.
Yours Sincerely,

Analysis of the Children’s Toy or Game and the Influence on Development
(Step 2 Funs with Friends Toy)
Introduction
Toys help create creative and critical thinking in children. The children become innovative at an earlier age, allowing them to explore their areas of interest. Step 2 funs with friends’ toys consists of the kitchen that enables the children to practice their social life through cooking and exhibit unique kitchen practices. The toy through the kitchen appliance makes children practice washing dishes, cooking, feeding the pretend pets, and practicing house chores organization. Therefore, the paper gets premised on examining the Step 2 funs with friends’ toy thorough description of its features, physical or psychological; needs of the toy, cognitive needs, and the recommendation for the modification.
Description of the Toy
Step 2 funs with friends toy is an ideal kitchen play for children for whipping the delicious treatment with friends. The toy has realistic amenities reflecting modern detailing, like the modern appliance door. It has many kids’ friendly functionality, and stylish pretend play kitchens. The components of the kitchen include pretend appliances, a molded-in sink, sounds, and a realistic stovetop burner with lights. As such, the little chefs entertain themselves using the complete station and pretend pets that ears and drink (Amazon. 2022). Other components include a microwave, boiling pots, electronic lights, a coffee maker, a refrigerator for keeping fresh the ingredient, and a swivel faucet.
Physical or Psychological Needs of the Toy
The toy enables the children to appreciate the physical nature of the kitchen. Appreciating the kitchen’s physical nature entails playing with the stoves and taking precautions regarding the use of the pretend stoves. Also, the children learn the need to take care of the oven and the electric appliances within the kitchen (Amazon. 2022). Through the cleaning of the pretend items, the children learn the techniques for enhancing cleanliness. The available pretend pets make the children develop the need to care for the love pets by promoting their hygiene and feeding them appropriately. The use of pretending foodstuffs and ingredients enables the children and friends to learn food preservation techniques through a pretending refrigerator. Psychologically, children develop a social role in the house (Step 2, 2022). Also, children learn to become independent and confident in handling home matters. The pretend play skills create imagination which helps in emotional development. Consequently, the skills developed from the kitchen play teach the children the importance of sharing. Children will learn the need to share food, tools, and other equipment with fellows. Step 2 funs with friends to help children learn the counting skills by serving dinners using portion which figures the number of people that need to eat. Emotional development enables children to become whoever they want by attaining the basic view of life in the kitchen (Rupiper, 2017). Furthermore, children learn the psychological need for collaboration and cooperation while playing with other children and adults.
Cognitive Needs
The use of Step 2 funs with friends’ toys helps I cognitive development of children through relying on the imagination for the creation of culinary masterpieces. The imagination enables the children to recall the images they have encountered and seen in the past through home kitchen practices. After recalling the images and information, children can easily interpret the information and images in exciting and new ways and then act on the interpretation appropriately (Pang, E., & Simoncelli-Bulak, 2017). The process of revision, recall, and enactment horns the cognitive skills that will benefit the child in future social life.
Modification
Majorly Step 2 funs with friends’ toys are made from plastics, which are non-biodegradable materials. Also, some items are made from silicon which is not environmentally friendly. As such, manufacturers need to consider using biodegradable resources in manufacturing the Step 2 funs with friends’ toys. Using biodegradable will create an environment-friendly climate, igniting the child’s need to develop environmental preservation measures (Rupiper, 2017). Also, the items in the toy should be painted in different colors that reflect the actual observable characteristics of the real image of the kitchen tools. The real images make the play interesting for the kids.
Conclusion
The use of Step 2 funs with friends’ toys encourages the child’s physical, psychological, and cognitive development. It creates a play environment where the children will understand the role of the kitchen and the need for food preparation and preservation measures. As such, the toys’ components include an oven, refrigerator, sink, plates, pretend sink, stove top, realistic electric lights, pretend microwave, and dishes (Step 2. 2022). Furthermore, the need to use biodegradable material will encourage the children to develop a mindset of preserving the environment. It also creates an environmental sustainability framework to create a clean, habitable environment. Therefore, I encourage the parents to purchase step 2 funs with friends’ toys to enable children to develop psychological, physical, and cognitive needs of social life and practice kitchen skills for future development.

Social Injustice and Cultural Identifier
Introduction
Today there have been various major issues affecting the quality of education in k-12 public education. These issues have raised controversies in the school setting among learners and educators. And as a result of these controversies, it has been difficult to smooth running in school since there has been chaos among learners and educators. The research indicates that in most public schools today, these controversies across schools in the republic have been contributed by the lack of understanding and acceptance of multicultural identifiers that various individuals from different cultures hold (Anguelovski & Connolly, 2021). This research paper will focus on social injustice practices in schools that have harmed k-12 public education. This controversial research topic has caused a negative impact on the overall performance and led to conflicts among various individuals within the school settings. Incorporating and ensuring social justice within schools across the nations has been an issue due to a lack of understanding and acceptance of many cultural identifiers from individuals, i.e., learners and educators from different cultural backgrounds. Due to multicultural existence across the nation, ensuring social justice practices within schools has been a highly controversial topic on the rise and advocated by many who have been demanding equality within education schools.
Description of the controversial topic, its connection to cultural identifier and role of social justice
Many people have been demanding social justice for their students who receive social injustice from educators based on their cultural backgrounds. Research indicates that social injustice refers to the actions or actions that are taken in favor of a certain group and infringe on other groups’ constitutional rights, marginalizing their potential opportunities like getting an education that would empower them while seeking jobs in various sectors or treating then unfairly. Based on my research topic, discrimination in schools has been a major controversial issue that has affected many students in various institutions based on decisions made or the act of discrimination taken against certain students in k-12 public education institutions (Morgan, 2022). Students have been receiving discrimination in various education systems based on race, religion, gender, or sexuality. Based on these cultural identifiers, students have been equitably getting unfair distribution of learning resources (which include reading materials) and mistreatment. Discrimination is one of the controversial social injustices across many education settings affecting k-12 education, especially in public settings, since learners’ performance has deteriorated due to a lack of comfortable learning environments for easy understanding and internalizing educators’ concepts.
Summary of the controversial issue in context of k-12 education
Looking at k-12 public education today is sad across the nation because the fair distribution of resources and equitable treatment of learners does not always happen, a situation that has heavily affected entire performance in education. Upon researching the poor performance of learners in k-12 public education have realized that lack of equity, diversity, participation, and oppression of human rights have the main social injustice practices in schools affecting learners’ performance. Discrimination is the main focus of my controversial research topic is that it has greatly played in the lack of social justice in k-12 public education. It has contributed to all social injustice practices in all schools. This is because students have been discriminated against based on their race in many school settings (Morgan, 2022).
To acquire social justice in schools, principals/educators have been urged to ensure they lead and implement diversity in the school setting to avoid discrimination at all costs (Wells, 2019). Research indicates that educators have been urged to implement diversity within schools to avoid discrimination because they are only responsible individuals for improving performance in k-12 public education outcomes. Moreover, they have been urged to put more effort into ensuring social justice in schools, starting with the disadvantaged and marginalized groups. The interest to achieve social justice in schools has been shown by various researchers who have shown a growing interest in achieving social justice in various institutions to discourage discrimination practices affecting learners’ performance. However, it has recently been witnessed that social injustice in education discourages good performance and mainly focuses on injustice practices like discrimination, which has been a major problem for k-12 public education. As mentioned earlier, this controversial research topic aims to understand, comprehend and recognize social injustice in k-12 public education systems.
Scholarly statement towards the controversial issue in k-12 education and historical events that affected controversial topicResearch indicates that racial discrimination in k-12 public education has affected performance greatly. This is because racism or racial discrimination has been a major challenge in the education system since segregation has been unconstitutional in many public district schools. Many leaders, especially the Blacks, have been on the frontline pushing for change to achieve social justice for decades. There have been nationwide uprisings against brutality based on social injustice and a significant shift in racial discrimination that involves conversations and attitudes concerning or regarding racial inequalities across the United States Republic. There has been a great urge from the various leaders and allies to call upon communal support regardless of racial background and fight social injustice in school settings. This is because this controversial topic has contributed to a lack of engagement and involvement to contribute toward the perpetuation of the inequities and prevent many people from accessing education due to the fear of social injustice practices within schools, especially the Black, Indigenous, and people of the color. Therefore since racial discrimination in education has been termed as the root cause of all social injustice in the education system, school leaders, educators, communities, and all allies are required to work as a team and implement changes within the education system.
Future effects of social injustice in teaching practice and future students
Social injustice based on racial discrimination in k-12 public education will greatly affect the future teaching practices as well as the future students as well. This is because the notion or sense that all people in the society deserve fair, equal, and equitable rights and access to research will be lost. And as a result, many students will not be able to be taught particular subjects, especially language, especially the Blacks, because they shall be discriminated against. And as a result, social injustice will prevail in society which will breed conflicts (Zermeno, 2021). However, there are various ways to address social injustice based on racial discrimination. There is a need to address this controversial issue because education plays a critical role in society by empowering and acting as an equalizing tool that creates opportunities for many regardless of race. For instance, previous decades have seen student-led activism efforts, proving that schools are a powerful setting for confronting social injustice and encouraging transformation. Learning institutions have promoted activity-based learning to deal with problems of racism and gender discrimination, as well as other sociocultural elements that all lead to social injustice. Moreover, have also established forums and chances for discussion of common concerns, such as social injustice, through debates (Whitford & Emerson, 2019).
Policies formulated and implemented at local and district schools as a solution to social injustice.
Additionally, policies have been formulated to address the issue of social injustice in schools. For instance, a policy has advocated for equitable funding in education. This is because many public schools where the Blacks, Indigenous, and other non-Black learners attend their schools are under worse conditions that are a threat to their well-being. This policy has been implemented to ensure that all district schools are improved to facilitate a good learning environment since there are allocated funds for all public schools. Advocating for the termination of de-facto segregation through school and district boundaries is another policy that has been implemented. This is after the Brown v. Board of Education decision made that school segregation unconstitutional (Read, 2018). This policy has been implemented as a way of redesigning the school district and its surroundings to ensure that there is no racial segregation.
