Parenting Essay
Please write a one- to two-page essay (single-spaced) about your family, your cultural heritage and about an event in your upbringing that shaped your thinking about your parents and how they treated you.
Please reflect on what this event meant to you. Then please discuss a similar event one or both your parents or caretakers faced and how it was treated in the family.
The strongest essay will cover your family background and just one important experience in your upbringing and, if possible, one experience from your parents’ generation.
Important note: If your family history is too painful to write about, you may write about writing about a friend’s or relative’s upbringing.
You do not need to have your essay posted anonymously in our essay collection if you don’t wish.

You may do that by saying so in the first sentence of your essay.

You are the business owner of a local cleaning service, and you have been thinking about
implementing a knowledge management system for your cleaning technicians, especially for
those who troubleshoot and solve cleaning problems, such as removing certain carpet and water
stains, addressing mold, and selecting the proper tools and products to use for other types of
cleaning issues. You are thinking about this because there are times when some of your cleaning
technicians know how to properly clean carpets and others do not. Providing a central knowledge
repository could help share cleaning knowledge among your cleaning technicians.

This paper provides you with an opportunity to review the practice intervention and research
literature on one intervention approach (for example: structural family therapy, or cognitivebehavioral therapy) for a specific problem/population. Imagine you are a clinical social worker
with a client, pick one intervention to research, and describe how/why that intervention applies to
and is useful in working with the client population.
This paper should be 5-6 pages in length (double-spaced, 12 pt. font) and include a cover page
and list of references with complete APA formatted citations for the literature you have reviewed.
The 3-5 page length does NOT include your cover page or references page. The text of the
paper should be organized in a narrative form with the following section headings:
The problem/population is adult, and the behavior was drug and alcohol from my first paper. I
would like to use cognitive behavioral therapy for my intervention. There will need to be 5
sources for this paper, I have add two more and you will find the other three for the paper.
