Learner-Centered Teaching and Engagement Over the last 3 weeks, you have read about Weimer’s framework for learner-centered teaching. Weimer describes how certain roles of the instructor, students, and content, and the relationship between these three components contribute to learner-centered teaching.

By Day 3: Post your response to the following: How are these roles and relationships different from those that exist in learning environments that are not so learner-centered? Do these differences contribute to increased student engagement? Why or why not? What barriers do you think might exist to making the kinds of shifts that Weimer describes, and how might these be overcome?
