Newton’s Third Law of Motion – Action and Reaction
Newton’s Third Law of Motion states that every time one body exerts a force on a second body, the second body exerts an equal and opposite force on the first.
Newton’s third law implies that for every action (force) acting on a body, there is an equal and opposite reaction. If a body X exerts a force on object Y, body Y also exerts an equal and opposite force on body X.
There are several examples of this third law in practice.
