Search for relevant literature on exemplary teaching in early childhood. You will need at least 7 literature sources all published within 5 years

Search for relevant literature around teacher professional identity related to these exemplary teaching qualities.
Critically review the literature – what does the literature say about the exemplary teaching aspects and how does it / doesn’t it relate to diverse learners? What is the context of the research? What are the strengths of the literature? Were there any limitations e.g. the population researched, the sample size, the context, the age group of participants, the background of participants. Were children included in the research or only adults?
Identify and summarise the key arguments across the literature that you have reviewed. What are the main findings that you have discovered from the literature reviewed? This will require you to compare and contrast the literature to identify the similarities and the differences in what the literature is discussing. How do the literature sources relate to one another? Be sure to review a wide range of literature sources (a minimum of 7) to write an integrated / synthesised discussion of your findings, and NOT a review of each literature source independently.
Critically think about the implications of what you have discovered – your key findings. What do the findings mean for the development of your own professional identity and practice working with diverse learners? Give examples of how you will implement the findings in your future professional practice.
Discuss the implications of utilising research skills and contemporary literature to support the development of your professional identity and practice in your education context.

CRITERIA:
Selects appropriate literature around exemplary teaching practices and identifies and defines three exemplary teaching elements on which to base the literature review. (8 marks)
2. Selects appropriate literature linked to professional identity and supporting diverse learners, as it relates to teaching practices identified. (10 marks)
3. Synthesises identification and comparison of key findings from the literature reviewed. (13 marks)
4. Critically discusses key findings in relation to exemplary teaching practices and how they impact on professional identity. (12 marks)
5. Explains the implications of utilising research skills and literature to review findings on own professional identity and teaching practice. (12 marks)
