Country Case Study – how key course themes have shaped its history and politics

Country Case Study.
In 7 pages write an analytical case study on a country of your choice from the Gasiorowski book, analyzing the way in which key course themes have shaped its history and politics.
Your case study should do all of the following:
-Provide a historical and demographic sketch of your country, focusing on how themes discussed in this course have shaped historical and contemporary realities.
-Assess and examine your country’s position in the current regional order. Is your country a status quo power, or a revisionist power? What factors have led it to adopt this position?
-Describe the politics of your country, as they currently exist. What are the structures and mechanisms of political power in your country? How, if at all, are the people led to support the national project?
-Predict future developments in your country. In your view, will the current political set-up in your chosen country last for the next five years? The next ten years? Why or why not?
