Writing Hypothesis – Racism or Sexism

Writing Hypothesis – Racism or Sexism

Develop a hypothesis for your topic. look up at least 4 scientific articles that are peer-reviewed that would support and/or reinforce your hypothesis or ideas. This is a literature review. A lit review is utilizing others’ research and putting in your own words how their work supports your ideas.
Create a research design. How will you test your hypothesis? With what population, is it educational, participant observation, survey, ethnographic, experiment, etc.
How will you evaluate your research? Statistics, evaluations, etc.
Conclude: you do not need to make up the results, explain what you think will occur and/or why it may occur and why this study would be important.
There should be a work cited page. You can use either APA or MLA style.
Make sure you are not plagiarizing. If you do use another author’s work, cite it. When you are taking their information, it should be put in your own words. If you are using a quote (their exact words), it should be very limited.
The paper should be free of spelling mistakes, grammar problems, and any other writing problems.
The paper should be cohesive and flowy. I do not have a specific format, but many students have found headings of their information as useful such as:
Define Topic
Literature Review
Hypothesis
Research Design
Evaluation/Analysis
Conclusion
Work Cited
